Artest, the Nuggs win convincingly. West, it's a battle still.

We will win if we can either make a nice trade or get healthy.

I really really hope you guys don't get Artest, not because I think he would make you better but I tink it would ruin your guys season.

I agree with this statement. We could win the division without a single trade, if George could somehow get hit by a bus.

As a Jazz fan I would think the Nuggs will win the division, unless they pick up Ron Artest. Then Utah will. A Ron Artest will do to the Nuggs what it did to the Kings. If I were the GM of the Jazz I would throw in a 1st round pick to help you guys acquire Ron Artest.

It would be a gamble. He could ruin or really really help as well. It wouldn't automatically be ruining the season.

Yeah the division, but not a championship. At least the front office doesn't think so trying to get Gasol and mentioning they will be very active before the trading deadline.

I don't think Karl is the best coach in the world and he makes mistakes, but I don't see him really being that much deterimental to the team.

gambles need to be made to win a championship.

the spurs did it with parker
heat did it with shaq
pistons did it with rasheed, etc etc.

imo Artest is worth gambling for.

7 man rotations, over playing everybody that is in the 7 man rotation, not being able to draw up a play, not being able to get his team to show up with intensity night in and night out.....I'll stop there...you get the point. I didn't even mention playing favorites.

Did the Kings not improve vastly once they traded for Artest? I thought they made a big run once they got Artest, which helped them actually make the playoffs that year. It wasn't until the next year when they started to suck with him and he got into problems......which, IMO, had a lot to do with all the losing.

Some guys just seem to behave better when they're in a winning situation....they're happier. If we did end up with Artest, I think that he'd be alright(at least for the 3 months he'll be here) so as long as the team is winning(and we would be).....at least that'd be my hope.

exactly. Ron was pretty well behaved when he was the 2nd or 3rd option in indiana with Reggie Miller and oneal and they were winning 60 games a season.

also, that first year they made the playoffs with Artest they played a very tough series against the Spurs in the 1st round, I think they won 2 games, but they really made the Spurs work for it.

i dont think the spurs will end the season as the 5th team in the west. and even IF they'll do, i want to win the northwest because this is a big confidence-booster!

another thing is, we want to win the championchip, if we face the spurs in the first round and we beat them, the rest of the way seems to be easier than the first round ;)

We can beat ther Spurs. Just have to have better concentration and focus than them. That includes Karl.

And anyway, you don't win by backing down.
