You think Webber's a defensive force? Wright broke the frosh record for ACC FG% at 64%..He plays within himself ...The kid is ready to take all of the scrubs minutes...Nellie is just brainwashing Mullin and most of us.
It's the jumper and the braces.
Nellie hates kids!

I am not sure Nellie understands the consequences of his actions to the full extent. AB has been bustin his ass off for this franchise for some 4 seasons already, he is the second longest survivor of Ws.. and nevertheless once Nellie gets a chance to settle his past debts and clean out his closet from old skeletons and acquire a well-past-his-prime Webbman, he calls this old man out as his best center, starts him and cuts down on the young gun, who has been the most loyal and unselfish of all of them.. And the thing is AB will live with this situation, he will keep making the most of his limited mins, until one of the following happens:
being Latvian i can pretty much point out that he has a mild temper and he wont be showing his unhappines loudly (i.e. Stephen Jackson bustin a cap in Nellies azz and arguing about any friction).. he will probably take on everything and the explode (go public, and demand a trade or go Vareajo on Ws, or worse) or implode (stop caring about the franchise, play with no intensity and just collect his dollars)..
when you come to think about it, he is a young dude that gets publicly dissed about being inferior and 2nd option to an old has-been.despite knowing any team in the league would die to have you for the same money along with an increase in the minutes ..how much could you take it?.. and believe me, his agent knows this too and he will want to earn percentage!
Nevertheless, I hope he stays with the Ws and either Nelly buys some psycology books or is replaced by someone who understands that players like AB, POB and BWright dont grow on trees, but bookstores are full with Nice stories.

Chris Mullin and Andris' agent have been very close through the years. Bill Duffy also represents Kosta Perovic, as you probably know.
But this year has been a struggle for Mullin as he tries to maintain his brand of friendly business practices in the face of his first true negotiations challenge. He has had "bad luck" with a checkbook in his hands before, as we all know.
If I were a betting man, I would say Chris Mullin will not be involved in the endgame contract discussions for Andris Biedrins. Call it a hunch.

How do you not play Webber and Biedrins at the same time? Harrington, Webber, and Biedrins have complimentary talents.

The fact that Mullin and Cohen were able to maintain next season as an option year for Nellie I think is positive and telling. I think Mullin is more independent of Nellie than people give credit for. Mullin is not going to let Nellie tear apart his personnel decisions, the man has an ego and it is as clear to him as it is to any of us that Biedrins, Wright and even POB are talented players that should stay around. I still think that POB was a way to save a little money because they don't think anybody will have any interest in him and they'll be able to resign for cheap. My guess is that if Nellie refuses to sign off on all our current youngsters than they just won't pick up his option for next season.

Nellie has completely lost his mind. Which is a shame because he's brilliant. He's had a tremendous positive impact on the composition, effort level, and basketball iq of team. It's such a shame to see him undermine all of that progress with his ridiculous allergy to young talent in his big men.
And I'm not even talking about not starting Andris. Like CPH, I can live with that. But playing him only 21 minutes?? That is less than two quarters.

With Nellie starting the 1st and 3rd Q's means the only guaranteed minutes Andris is going to get..Take those away and you see what happens..It's a huge deal...Andris will automatically lose minutes...floppymoose wrote:Nellie has completely lost his mind. Nellie still hates Webber. lol
No, Nellie hates kids!
