my bad should have written that in green
i would only want marion at this point if i already had nash, or someone who could create for him
i would prefer odom

Marion looks good on those alleyoops, but when you force him to play halfcourt basketball he looks very average out there. This is where Lamar clearly has the advantage. Even if he's not scoring,he has the ability to create and dish. There is a reason why Phoenix never ran plays for him

Great win for the Lakers. We're back to 5th seed

Great win today. Kobe's D was awesome, his all around game was awesome. Mar was great on the boards and scoring but had that 1 stupid pass with like a minute left. Sasha was great, Pau was good too.

Great game, Cats next.

Sasha also had a good game. Can't believe I'm saying that.

Odom frustrates me even when he has monster numbers at the end of the game. He should have converted more on his missed lay ups.

Is it weird not seeing Shaq in this building or hearing Shaq chants?

Kobe: No not really. Shaq was here for like only a year.

Come on Kobe. In that year he won a ring.

Can't play much better than Kobe did today. The difference between he and Wade was stark. Kobe took the challenge, while Wade relegated his to Dorrell Wright and Ricky Davis.

Hats off to Lamar for his best game of the season. Such a big difference when he's being aggressive and attacking the basket instead of drifting on the perimeter.

Kobe: 33/5ast/2stls/10-15 FG/11-11 FT, lockdown D on Wade
LO: 15/18reb/6ast/6-11 FG

Pau got outplayed by friggin' Mark Blount, but came up with a big shot towards the end. We need to execute better in 4th, not get sloppy and complacent with a big lead.

Great games all around from almost everyone and especially from LO and Kobe. It's funny/annoying that when LO absolutely must step up as the 2nd option he shy's away from it, but when we have a Bynum or Gasol available he just makes the game that much easier for us as a team. He's aggressive at the right time and he gets big time rebounds. I love our team and we're still not even near our full force potential.

Wade looks like he's forcing the issue a little too much (9 to's). I think he needs to work hard on his game this summer. I used to think he was the next heir to Kobe, but he's having trouble adjusting to his declining athleticism. Kobe had little trouble adjusting after two knee surgeries (and just aging) because he has the full repetoire, but Wade just keeps using the same 2 moves over and over even when his athleticism doesn't favor him like that anymore. But yeah, Wade should take the summer off to shed a good 10lbs, get healthy, and to work on his game.

Good game and good luck the rest of the way, guys.

With the Heat obviously out of it, I hope Kobe holds up the trophy in June.

There's going to be times in the playoffs where Lamar and Bynum up front could be a better option then Gasol and Bynum. Not a lot,but against certain teams.

Gasol can sleepwalk a little on the boards sometimes

For reals, I was like "what the ****? was that the left hand? was that a hook shot?" and then they showed the replay.

Thanks Mayne .. truely appreciate it... no doubt the Heat will become good again .. you got a lot to be excited about even though this is a nightmare season .. that High draft pick and wheather or not you re-sign Swawn Marion should play huge parts in how good the Heat will be next year ..

also im no hater but for you guys sake do not re-sign Ricky D .... Ricky= Lakers Smush of previous 2 years .. Also what happend to j-will wasn't this guy ballin 2 years ago ? he was hot at playoff time that championship year for you guys and now its like :o

I agree, Lamar quietly put up Big Ben numbers. Minus the hardnose D of course.
