International Key Player Watch

Post#1 » by magee » Fri Feb 8, 2008 6:10 pm

This thread will be for international prospects. I've seen about 5 different threads about Nathan Jawai in the past two weeks. Everyone says the same thing. Instead of linking to past threads, just talk about each player in this thread. May get sloppy near draft time, but it'll work for those people who don't know too much about the international prospects.

Danilo Galinari- absolute Lotto pick. Was able to catch one of his Euroleague games streamed from their website. Great handle, greata center of balance, can stroke it. There's already a thread on him, so keep anything regarding him in that thread.

Same with Ricky Rubio, even though he won't come out this year.

Nathan Jawai is called 'baby Shaq.'

Serge Ibaka is playing in Spain.

Feel free to add anything.

Everyone has been talking about Pekovic being a prospect C. Hopefully someone keeps an eye on him and updates his progress.

Here is a tidbit about his game:

What about BATUM !!!! he's (with Galinari) the best europeen prospect , he's more ready for the NBA than Galinari because he's got NBA body, NBA move, NBA spirit,... and Galinari's game is typically europeen.

mhh.... :D , he's good, but tell me how you can say he's better nba ready than etc...

it's hard to do that joke bro  ...i've already lost my personal challenge named : a bandwagon for belinelli ! ..and without any doubt everyone was thinking he could have been nba ready ...

it's a matter of how a player can fit for a team....actually belinelli is useless to GSW cause of monta and baron plus other 3-4 sg's ...

i'me still convinced that he could be an absolute force in this league...but i've to wait a while.

the same about batum & gallinari....they're both young players with such of upside potential...we need to wait, ..we cannot say "he's more nba ready than..etc.."

Batum is "just" the best athlete out of the two... sorry but right now Gallinari is better in all the rest.
