cough....Andre Miller....cough

I would love to have Andre Miller on the Magic, but it seems like a pipe dream specially since Jameer is Otis boy.

It looks to me like he is saying that based upon who has been playing lately. With Stan's lineup changes, you never know when that might change.

I'm not completely convinced on Charlie V. I wonder about his consistency. I still think Wilcox can be had for the right deal. I don't think it would cost that much either. I can see it costing JJ and Orlando taking back either West, Watson, or Ridnour. Which is ok with me. I don't see Haslem happening but I also never would of guessed the Gasol trade. So hey you never know.

Yeah...I don't see Miami that interested in Curry or Randolph for that matter. Rilley would have a heart attack dealing with their lack of willingness to play defense and Curry's inability to rebound.

Your probably right but I think its a good move for Miami. They need an inside presence and Curry is better than NY will allow. Worst case they move Blount to PF Curry at C. With Marion at the SF and Wade at SG they are a PG away from a darn good team. Centers dont grow on trees and there are few to be had around the league. NY is ready for a fire sale and Curry could be had for cheap. Curry's stat line is comparable to Haslem and he has height and weight.

Wilcox is great, but he's not a bench guy, and he's not that reliable PF we're looking for to put next to Dwight, so he's be redundant...if he's cool with being Dwight's backup than great...if not, we have to look elsewhere...

and i dont think he'll be cheap at all...cheaper maybe than the Supes fans will have you believe, but not as cheap as you are thinking...

how exactly does mike miller help out the magic? another bad defender who will take looks away from dwight.

Andre miller and reggie evans is clearly the best move orlando can make, and its hard to contradict that.

Yeah but his contract ain't cheep. If the heat are really trying to run an uptemo offense then Curry would be the wrong center for the job. Add to the fact that a front line of Curry and Blount is about as bad defensively as Curry and Randolph. Now granted unlike the Knicks the Heat do have good perimeter defenders in Marion and Wade, but that front line will cause more problems then it will help.

i LOVE Craig Smith, I got to watch him up close...dude is MONSTER city...but he's not that reliable 4 man...he's Sean Williams with better brains and more offensive promise, he just never passes the ball haha...

i'd take Green or Jaric to land Smith...

but it doesn't solve anything for us...

Jaric actually might be a great addition when you think about it, he's tall, quick, lengthy and plays really good D...he and Evans might make a nice duo...doesnt HAVE to have the ball, but can take care of business in the open court...
