seriously, if he was still here, would he start?

Well, not right now because he is injured.

And he didn't start in his previous two years either, and the Magic had the same point guards.

nah bro I love arroyo but hes not going to start for this ball club, Keyon gets the bench minutes because hes the perfect backup he can defend and score. i truly dont see him making it past this year with us. i hope im wrong but i dont think i am. but to be fair i dont think nelson will be with us much more than 2 years.

16-4 with Jameer > 7-2 with Carlos. Not only a better record but bigger sample size as well.

We'll see what ends up happening in the long run. But there's really no reason for people to get so harsh here. I think all of the Magic's point guards have given the team what they can. It might not always be what we think they should (and God knows, as a group, we don't agree on that), but we should be thankful that they have been able to help keep the team steady. A lot of teams don't have two point guards who are capable of doing that. We have three.

We can't honestly say what will happen at this point either. We don't know whether Carlos or Keyon will come back next season. I mean, for a variety of reasons, one or both of them could choose to play for someone else next year, and there's no guarantee we could replace them with someone effective. We can't even say with 100 percent certainty that Jameer will be back, though you certainly would expect so. Whatever happens, it's not going to be us deciding so starting thread after thread to push whatever guy you favor or detract from one you don't like isn't going to help anything. Let's just wish them all well and a strong finish to the season.

The truth comes out. Starting a player because he's PR is dumb.

Arroyo gets too much hate on these boards, undeservingly IMO. He's an average to good player who can help a team. I think he's headed out of Orlando if he can net the Magic a PF like Haslem. He might have a chance to start in Miami, if he's traded there.

you just killed your argument, this is exactly wat im saying i hope he does get traded so we can mesh out all the magic fans like you who are only fans cause we have a pueto rican. thats ridiculous meer is the better pg. he playes harder and he passes the bread which arroyo doesnt do. and i dont care what you say the competition matters its gonna be harder to win against better teams. doesnt matter cause you lost all your logic and credibility when you said he should start cause hes BORICUA!!!

Actually i didn't lose any credibility cuz look at his win percentage in games. And ya i agree with you all he isn't as good offensively scoring wise as Nelson but running an offense wise he is much more efficient. And the Boricua comment is becuase he bring so many fans to the games that many of you dont' even realize. With the high puerto rican fan base that lives in orlando many of them only come to the games because of him. And trading him or sitting him is hurting the magics popularity in the town and attendance and jersey sales.

Our attendance in the highest it's been in a very long time. And what do you know, we're 12 games over .500. Winning puts butts in seats, as has been stated so many times whenever this argument comes up.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

That's THE fact.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

keep sayin the same thing ill keep telling you the same thing. and as far as the boricua thing id rather have less fans who are here to see a bad pg in arroyo and more MAGIC fans i could care less for the fact that he brings puerto ricans to games. And dont say im racist cause im not saying i hate puerto ricans. im saying i want magic fans not arroyo fans.

Nice,

I am still for starting him ....

starting him on his way out the door to another team before the trade deadline as a piece in getting us a power forward

WOW he must be magical...
like i said already id rather have real magic fans than arroyo fans (thats what they are they didnt become magic fans for the magic and if arroyo left they would hate the magic and follow him elsewhere) the only people who try to say hes a good pg are puerto ricans. hes not a GOOD point guard hes not a HORRIBLE point gaurd he is average, worse than nelson and doesnt fit into the rotation. he needs to be included in a trade
