The rest of the February schedule

Post#1 » by Matt Foley » Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:20 pm

Feb 20 Detroit
Feb 22 @ Detroit
Feb 23 Denver
Feb 26 Cleveland
Feb 28 @ New Jersey

We are on a nice 4 game losing streak right now. Do you guys see it going to 9 in a row? That would be 12 of the last 13 and only 1 win this month. I'd be surprised if we get one or two out of these next five.... but you never know what team will show up to play.

A nice 10 game losing streak right in the middle of the so called "easy schedule" is just what this organization needs.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

I see 10 wins at most for the rest of the season and that's without us tanking. This team is disgusting.

I could see us winning enough games against tanking teams that Kohl and his Cronies decide we still have a bright future and to keep this core together.

I predict win streaks of up to (but not exceeding!) two games. And stretches where we may even go 3-2. The sky is the limit for this squad.

Meanwhile...this board goes on to argue heatedly over the summer whether we have the potential to be a 50 win team as early as next year, and the one or two people who have enough sense to realize we still suck will be exiled immediately with no questions asked.

This is a great post because I was just thinking about putting up something about the next two weeks of our schedule! They will lose by at least 20 at home to Detroit, by 30 at Detroit, will make it close and only lose by 15 to Denver, and will lose to Cleveland, beat New Jersey(only because Kidd won't be there), and lose to San Antonio! 20-39!! Now that is a great record, and they will still talk about how they are only 5 games out of the last playoff spot!

I think so too. I think if we were playing New Jersey at home it would be a toss-up but since we're on the road that should be a loss.

well after getting our asses handed to us by the Spurs we then have to travel to IND for a 5pm sunday game that could be #11. Sunday games we usually come out even more flat. Happy Monday.

Finishing with the third worst record far from guarantees a Top 3 pick. If anything, the Bucks should be shooting for 4-5, that's where all the luck seems to be bouncing to recently.

I only see us winning 6 more all year. Leaving us with a 25-57 record. Miami, Minnesota, Memphis, New York and Seattle I think will all be worse than us. So maybe luck will bounce our way.
