Its obvious this was a fake. If you go on the Kings board, they were all quoting that other forum also.

Everyone was being fed false info from 1 source, and then quoting one another.

Just one ugly pyramid scheme essentially.

Actually they would both match up. It is a money issue and it sounds like our owners or Otis will fail us again.

This wasn't a fake, it was being discussed. Just because it was DENIED doesn't mean it wasn't really being talked about. Eze (Kings mod) is VERY reliable, and never said the deal was ACTUALLY going to happen. It was just stated that it was being talked about and Orlando had to say OK before it was approved by both teams.

It makes sense. Why would he talk about a trade? GMs don't do that until they are in the final stages or when they are officially dead.

But based on that, why would this source be any different than Denton? Why would he get the inside scoop and Denton get the brush off?
