Here's a quick off topic question..

Mashburn's contract is already off our books right?
Walk the city lonely
Memories that haunt are passing by
A murderer walks your streets tonight
Forgive me for my crimes;don't forget that I was so young
Fought so scared in the name of God and Country

I believe so, but I'm not positive.

The Suns hasn't exactly been a great team vs. the West. Around a .500 team. So its not suprising they lost to the Lakers.

Heck if you look further into it you actually might see that the East is better then the West.

While we all want instant gratification, it's going to take patience to build this team back into a serious contender. My biggest concern at this point is we overpay for a free agent this summer (Igoudala included).

By the way, very nice trade for NOH picking up Wells and James for the playoff push.

agreed...NOH wanted to improved their bench..they definitely did so.

Still quiet this morning...will try and get a few updates during the day before 3.

Cleveland is thinking about trading big Z to a team out West for a slasher scorer type I think. I dont think it will get done. If they do that..they need to move Hughes......

I wonder what we would have given for Kurt Thomas. He would have been great here for a stretch run, but he had a big expiring contract.

Are there any names that we are going after now, or should we just be resigned to the fact that nothing is going to happen now?

I don't buy it that no deals are going to go down. Why else is Ollie suddenly getting playing time? I see a minor deal going down. Would love to somehow unload Ollie, filler, and Utah's pick for Villanueva.

Just an idea here....sort of expanding on the Cle-Dal thing. If Clev really wants to deal, and they are looking for PG help, why couldn't we make their deal a little better? Make it a 3 way. This was my idea, and for obvious reasons, although I am really tired and don't know if it makes as much sense as it seems right now...

Take it for what its worth, I'm dead tired but this looks like a steal for the Sixers and it gets Cle a rebounding defending PF in return, along with a PG who is doing well, and Iggy to pair with Bron. If that ain't enough to shut him up...what is?

Plus, the sixers could roll into the playoffs with this sick lineup:

C-Daly/Smith/Booth
PF-Gooden/Smith/Hill
SF-Thad/Carney
SG-Howard/L-Will
PG-Miller/Gibson

Dallas are not going to trade Josh Howard, he is their best player, Dirk and Kidd included.

I only did it cuz he is included in the Z to dallas rumor, that is the only way Dallas is getting Z, according to Cleveland rumors.

IMHO he is an upgrade over Evans off the bench. He is only 6'6" though he has an above average standing reach. I don't think he is good enough to be a starting PF on a playoff team.
Don't worry, that builds character and you can never have too much character...

Oh, and just say no to CV, remember this guy got taken off the dribble and dunked on by Reggie Evans. He plays no defense whatsoever. Just say no to CV, no matter how little it takes to get him.

That's an awful deal for Dallas.
