The racism remarks here are insane, I find it hard to believe anyone who enjoys basketball to be racist, there is so much diversity in the league that it'd be impossible to tolerate the league if one were indeed racist. Hence why so many football fans (for example) hate on it for being a "black" sport.

Every season since Arroyo has been here, we go through this. Someone brings up the "race card", the whole board gets their panties up in flames, then things settle down once it is agreed upon that Arroyo does indeed suck regardless of his ethnic background.

The only thing that i have read on these boards that hints at racism was that comment about direct tv and brighthouse. I dont know how he meant it to come out but the way i read it, it sounded like you were infering that PR's cant afford DTV. Thats a bad comment to make it shouldnt have said it that way, but he says he didnt mean it that way. But i see why you could be a little angered by it, aside from that people here dont like arroyo cause he's an inconsistent ball player who isnt that great, not because he's PR, and some of you guys act like we hate PR's here, and it does feel like you play victim sometimes. Arroyo is a good guy down to earth does what it takes to help the TEAM, he probably wont be hear next year and i hope he can do better in another system, but i doubt it. (BoricuaBoi, is he really your cousin?) And in some of the responses about jameer being the same but doesnt get the criticism, thats a lie. Jameer has been criticized a lot on this board.

It seems like you're looking for admittance of racism out of those you believe are indeed racist rather than thinking to yourself ("maybe they aren't racist and they just don't like his style of play?").

I have no problems with your "cousin's" race, and as I stated, it's absurd for any basketball fan to be racist in this day..look at all the nationalities in the league now, it's a KKK nightmare.
