StM has set his rotation. It is locked, barring injury.

Dooling is a combo guard. They are great 6th men, and poor starters. Keyon is playing exactly as he should.

Absolutely not. Watching Dooling run the point is as bad as watching Francis do it. dribble, dribble, dribble and shoot. The man has never heard of the word "pass" and is clearly just trying to get his points to make more money next year. He may provide defense and energy, but only to the detriment of all other players on the court with him. He makes no one around him better, and he cant facilitate/run an offense. He just dribbles and shoots. Lucky for him his shots are going in, which is why he has such a long leash with SVG.

Have any of you watched Dooling play? He's a great defender, and he's a nice sparc plug of the bench; but in no way is he capable of being a starting point gaurd in this league. THE DUDE REFUSES TO PASS THE BALL...

yeah keyon falls in love with himself very similar to carlos... only one difference at least keyon can play hellish defense... hes a great spark ... he needs to stay there ... if he ever found out what court vision is maybe we could give it a try but that is doubtful this far into his career.

I didnt vote, hector. You guys are going to be very disappointed come playoffs with jameer starting. If dooling is going to play the 4th quarter, might as well start him, 1st quarter is = important as 4th quarter. I'm actually not in favor of anyone starting, rather PG by Committee, because they all are bench players.

We'd be even more disappointed if KeDo started the game.

31-1 : most lopsided poll on magic.RealGM EVER!!!!

Well, judging by your poll options:
1) Yes- Dooling plays great defense, although sometime erratic, good things always seem to happen when he is on the Floor.

2) No- Nelson is our man, we paid him, so thats that. I'm happy with Nelson being productive once out of every 3-4 games.

I'd say that was a poor excuse to not look like an ass after the 31-1 score.

then you should "get" that Dooling isn't a starter either. Watch him play and count the number of passes (not assists because he never gets those) vs the number of shots taken.

never said he was a starter, he's playing out of his mind. the question was does he deserve a shot when nelson goes back to sucking...Might as well go with the hottest player since they all are average/below avg.

Dooling's style and attitude is perfectly suited for coming off the bench.

If he became a starter, how soon until he begins pacing himself and loses his energized advantage that he usually brings coming off the bench.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Well if he started everyone else would suffer. Unless SVG runs the offense through Turk, which is what he had to do in the 4th last night since Dooling wasn't passing to anyone. Thats about the only way this team could succeed with Dooling starting. Just dont let him touch the ball.

Dooling is best suited as the sparkplug off the bench. Jameer is a much better PG but Dooling is a much better defender. SVG clearly sees that and uses them appropriately in my opinion. Reasons like this I am still just happy as hell that we don't have Brian Hill at the helm anymore.
