Draft express says that...

Minnesota owns Miami's first round pick, top 14 protected in 2008, top 10 protected in 2009, top 6 protected in 2010, and unprotected after that.

Is that right, and from when? The Ricky Davis trade, I couldn't imagine us losing that many picks. Or is it just saying that the pick keeps rolling over until they do get one?

its one pick, lottery protected this year, if we dont give them the pick in 2008 then in 2009 its only top 10 protected, if we keep it and pick in the top 10 next year, then the year after its top 6 protected
