A.I. had Game-High 29 points while Camby added 18 boards. Melo had a nice all-around game with 19/9/6. It was a hard nosed defensive minded game where Nen

Yeah. The size thing Camby vs. Shaq - with Amare right around the corner could be a problem. If Camby can convert all his layups and hit a couple shots OR play a monster game on help defense without losing Shaq....would make it easier. This would be a good game to have Nene, but without him guys need to pick up the slack.

This is one of those "accountable" games for Camby....

i don't think we'll have problems to score against em. they aren't really a better defensive team after that trade additionaly to that they lost to all good teams (LA, Detroit, New Orleans) in the last couple days. only could collect wins against teams like Portland and memphis. they won a game against the celtics but that's all of the positive stuff

we have a better chance to beat them this time because we really suck defending the 3 and they decreased much with the trade in that category

EDIT: they allow ~110 opponent points-per-game since acquiring shaq while scoring only 105 ppg as a team. (3-4 - with Shaq)

the head-to-head section on bbreference is down...
but i'm pretty sure marion has always killed us.

it'll be nice knowing he's not about to drop 5 threes and get all those runouts points. and i doubt shaq will be doing much on the second of a back to back...on the road...at altitude.

Linas Kleiza is questionable for Wednesday's game against Phoenix after "landing weird" during Monday's practice and aggravating the left ankle he first sprained on February 19th.
Nuggets coach George Karl thinks that Kleiza will play, but Kleiza says he is at "about 60 percent," adding,"We'll see how it feels."

Look for Shaq to have a season high like someone always does against the Nuggets.
Iverson, Iggy, Willie Green, Sammy D, Josh Smith, Rasheed and Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes Garnett, Francis, Lebron, Melo, K Mart, Wade, Amare, Q Richardson, T Mac, DC, and C Webb

It could be an advantage in a couple of ways. If Camby will get out and run and someone would give him the ball to finish we might be able to run him out of the game. Plus, with us wanting to run and the Suns wanting to run the pace might limit his minutes.

This will probably be a tough game for us even though they played last night and we are at home. I hope we pull out the win.

I predict Camby will get abused (moreso than usual) on the pick and roll.

In order for that to work, Camby has to be able to finish.

Back to the drawing board...

somehow i feel like half of the people on this board dissapeared :-?

Nuggets reserve forward Linas Kleiza likely will play tonight against Phoenix, though he is still bothered by a left foot injury. And Chucky Atkins, who underwent sports hernia surgery, said this morning it is possible he could play against the Suns.

Coach George Karl is hesitant to play Atkins until the reserve guard goes through a couple more practices.

"I told him

AI+Melo get 70 today book it as a win. We need to contain Amare downlow for sure, bring in double teams and don't let him explode... Shaq won't do much, as he'll run out of oxygen trying to keep up with our fastbreaking style...

The irony is that teams can now beat PHX by playing a fastbreak style. Right now there isn't one player on the Suns that can physically handle both Melo and AI. Rebounding will be the key for the game.. if you win the boards it will be an easy night in my opinion.

It doesn't help tonight that Utah is playing Minnesota and GS is playing Charlotte

The Nuggs lose tonight and they are 4 games out of the division and 3 games out of the playoffs.

IMO, it's over if the Nuggets lose tonight.

I can see a very determined and solid effort tonight especially at home against a team that embarrassed them in Phoenix... and if not maybe we can start throwing punches and be the Thuggets????? no, ok...sorry.

I only average 1.3 post per day so i havent disappeared, and i havent had school often bc of snow, so i can just endlessly post like i do sometimes(parents will kick me off after a while online) and don, i got a suggestion, i think, if its not to much time, that u could do a home/away thing at the beginning where when they play away, they wear the light blue/dark blue against the home teams white, and home as how it is now, u know what i mean. i think it would be cool.
