Zo getting killed on Jim Rome radio show

Post#1 » by CaliHeat » Wed Mar 5, 2008 7:47 pm

Just wanted to see if anyone heard the Zo interview on the radio with Jim Rome this morning?

I missed the interview but people are killing Zo on air right now. I guess he went on Jim Romes radio show and didnt want to answer any basketball questions. He only wanted to promote his foundation, not like its a bad thing. But Rome and callers to the show have been killing Zo for not wanting to answer questions about basketball. Very interesting.

Rome was just saying that when you book an athlete for an interview on the radio, you expect a give and take type thing. Where Rome will ask a few questions and Zo can still talk about his foundation but I guess Zo would not answer any basketbll related questions. Rome said it has happened to him before with Barry Sanders.

I did not catch any of the interview, so I cant tell you want he said or sounded like.

The callers to the show were killing him though saying he gave a bad name to his foundation by the way he acted on the show. Everyone that called in or e-mailed Rome were all hating on Zo, so I was just wondering if anyone else had heard the interview. I thought for sure someone would have heard it.

Rome is burning is on now, ill see if he mentions it.

Like Bill Russell says in the Zo interviews at halftime during the last few games, Who cares what any of them think.
