Now that Shaq's gone and it's Dwyane's team officially and he wants to start fresh and stay here long term, can we all stop calling him Flash? Seems he doesn't push that much if at all. This is once again...

I never recognized "Flash" as Dwyane's nickname, always boycotted it.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Izzy on ESPN had a good take on Wade's comments saying that he's taking this stance now (not like Kobe or LeBron, per se), where he's seemingly happy the direction the team is taking, and will be suffice with w/ever happens. But, instead should take the route, that he will weigh his options or something along those likes.

Typed that out on my phone, and didn't come out as I wanted it too.

Izzy was on ESPN this morning, and mentioned that the stance Wade is taking right now (wants to remain here long term) is a dangerous one, as it's, in a way, giving the front office the peace of mind that he's going to be here for the long term, and that there's no real rush to improve in a hurry; a la the Wallace/Szerbiack/West trade for Cleveland a few weeks ago.

Instead, he should've stayed quiet, and just kept on going, as is...

Though, my thoughts are, we have Riley running this ship (or we will be, right?). Riley's always found a way to put the right pieces around his superstars. So, if true. Why would Izzy make such a comment, to begin with? :dontknow:

I don't believe that. If he gives the front office the impression he's unhappy and wants out, they might make a drastic move that may not necessarily be for the best of the team. I don't want someone like Szczszcszserbiak ending up here because the front office is desperate to appease Wade immediately.
