Its a good thing for us if we are the ones with lowered expectations. It will put a lot more pressure on the other teams to perform. This way we can stay below the radar and be a very dangerous team in the playoffs, with home court advantage I might add.

Not that I care, but going by that logic, Boston shouldn't be in the top three because they didn't make the playoffs last year..

Minus the fact they have the best record in the league.

i hope he never wins a championship his a punk and he's disrespectful on the court. How amazing would it be if New Jersey or Indiana or Atlanta pull a golden state on the C's

If KG Dissed us...good! We really need any advantage we can get...
Boston is a pretty deep team right now...with the addition of PJ Brown/Cassell and Leon Powe/Glen Davis are playing above expectations.

Sooo it continues...

Marc Stein, ESPN.com: The instructions from our bosses were explicit: Don't answer "none." But I can't help it. I simply cannot even pretend to believe in any scenario in which Boston, Detroit or Cleveland doesn't wind up as the East champ. Sorry.

John Hollinger, ESPN.com: I don't think anyone is particularly likely in the East, but if forced to choose I still have to go with the Raptors. If Bosh and T.J. Ford are both healthy they're the best offensive team in the conference.

Chris Sheridan, ESPN.com: For lack of a better candidate, I'll go with the Toronto Raptors.

I could see them upsetting Cleveland in the first round if the Cavs can't defend their point guards (remember what Tony Parker did to them in the Finals? Calderon and Ford could do something similar) and if Bosh gets to go one-on-one against Mr. Disinterest, Ben Wallace.

I listened to Adande on one of ESPN's podcasts, today. He repeated what he said about how no one should count us out, so there's some love for us.

Who cares. Spurs are barely talked about until they whoop ass in the playoffs, I'd rather do that.

From Espn's viewpoint:

More LeBron hype = more people interested in sports
more people interested in sports = more advertising $$$

None of this is very importatant.

Wait until the playoffs.

Exactly....let the haters talk! Nothing they say and/or think means nothing once the playoffs start

 After Chicago embarrased Cleveland, Doug Collins said that the Magic are still a notch below the Cavs.

People are upset at KG? The majority of this board thinks the Magic are secound round at best and out. Why be mad at KG for saying what everyone is thinking. We are having a decent year but the most of the league is thinking gimmick team that style can't work in the playoffs. Not against good teams. The Cavs have perhaps the best playoff style in the East. They play ridiculous defense. There a monster on the glass. They have a guy that is flat out unguardable and can make the pass to the open shooters.
