Pietrus during our team shooting free throws.

Post#1 » by Abyss Impact » Sat Mar 8, 2008 4:11 am

Have you notice he just stands there, It doesn't matter if his teammates make the free throw or not, he doesn't ever move to like give them a hand slap like other people do. I think Pietrus is too good to do that, and that we should sign him to at least a 2 year deal next season so he can thrive through nelly's system.

Thoughts?

10 years, $250 million sounds good no? We can surely make an exception to the rules for MP.

How much do you think he's worth to be official practice cone for the next two years?

well, premium dry dog feed is $25 a month...multiply that by 24...$600...throw in some extra cash for some training lessons and water and what not...$1000 for the next two years...

I love the basketball season, but I can not wait until this one is over so we can be rid of the dumbest player in the NBA. I also can't wait until we're rid of the dirtiest player in the NBA, Barnes. Both of those guys are crap and are just an embarrassment to the franchise.

If Barnes asks for more than 3M a year for more than 3 years I would let him go. His good games are more an abberation than anything else.

Pietrus....a bit harder to decide on just because he can give you so much when he is focused. Still....screw him. If he only decides to bring his A game when he is trying to get paid then I dont want him around.

Yes, at least Bowen tries to bend the rules and get away with little cheap shots to improve his defense. Barnes is just a flat out thug and slams people just because. To me that's just shameful.

Sarcasm? Hope not, because pietrus comes to play every game unlike our other players. Even if his shot doesn't fall, he still plays with ALOT of heart. Teams would kill to get a player like that.

If that were true then why didn't they? He was up for grabs and nobody bit.

Maybe it was because we couldn't get anything worthwhile for him. Might that be a possibility?
