Once nelly is gone, POB and Biedrins is our twin towers, with Wright playing SF and Jackson SG and Baron PG.

What a waste of a high first round draft pick. Mullin needs to be fired if that happens.

I'm thinking POB wanted to go. He knows he needs court time. I don't think the team would have sent him down as a lame duck without POB ok'ing it.

I suppose that could be the case. Patrick could have just said I'm done, let me go play somewhere.

If not, this would be wantonly cruel.

Yeah, because every high first round draft pick has worked out.

Every. Single. One.

Wow, Kosta was dominating down in the Dleague. POB didn't even do that much last year....Let's hope Kosta can improve as he's a big body that we can throw against the Boozers, Gasols, Amare of the world.

Kosta's averages over 20+ games in D League are lower than Patricks over roughly the same number of games.

He had one good night.

After so much discussion on POB and Nellie's treatment of him long after his fate was already sealed, I've reached the "I don't care" point with POB.

Other topics that have lost my interest:

Why doesn't Belinelli get more playing time?

Pietrus is a dumb player.

Should the Warriors pick up (insert name)? - (who's just been released from the some team far worse than the Warriors).

Why doesn't BWright get more playing time?

Bunnies.

Unless they're bringing Perovic back up, POB could well be sitting down there too.

Does this mean Kosta has surpassed Patrick as the last big man off the bench?

Hopefully Kosta will get a little time now and then after his brief dominance in the D-League (better than his first stint).

If one of Patrick/Kosta proves to be a serviceable backup center, it would be hard for me to harbor any complaints about big man development (seeing as it's pretty obvious Wright will be successful).

So if a player gets better, we immediately apply it to the coach? You're basically selling out to the idea that Nelson developed Wright right there, and that if Kosta or POB becomes a successful backup, it will be Nellie's development?

Delusional

Kosta didn't surpass :censored:... he'd need a miracle to make it to :censored: this season. When you are literally half a foot taller than everyone else, there's no reason to not put up at least a double double, every night. The reason why Kosta's inability to do it pisses me off more - he's been playing heavy minutes on a professional basketball team for nearly 4 years previous to this. POB played a lot of minutes on a low level NCAA team and has gotten no time on a professional stage.

There's a lot of ways to take this... POB improving his value? Mully orchestrating it? Nellie attempting to put the final nail in this kid's coffin? Take your pick. It doesn't matter... that slim hope I had of POB coming back just disappeared... I suppose we'll just put up flyers around the Oracle and see if we can find another 7' athlete.

you gave up just like patrick did...

thats why hes not playing and thats why some team may or may not get a decent backup center.

dunno whats going on and im tired of trying to guess... hes gone. time to move on.

Touche :D

All this whole ordeal goes to show is that Nellie didnt learn anything from his time w/Webber. It's still Nellie's gimmick way or the highway. POB, Mullin, Nellie are all very aware that POB's skillset does not fit in with the type of game Nellie wants to play. Which is fine. But you don't just piss on 7' like that, especially ones with the physical gifts POB does...

It's a two way street. When you talk about a team dynamic, it starts with the coach. The coach essentially outcasted POB. Why? Maybe POB didnt have the best attitude about the way Nellie did things. There's tons of stuff to speculate... the bottom line is that both of them failed each other, and just like any argument, the more experienced person should have solved the problem. He didn't.

Good luck to POB... seems to be a very nice kid and I look forward to, and at the same time hate, him being a decent-good player somewhere else in the NBA.

1 out of 15 players hates Nellie...

Either Nellie is wrong, or Pat is wrong.
