He actually has 2 extra years on Aldridge if I'm not mistaken. Jefferson was drafted the same year as Telfair.

True - Artest is a hard cover for almost any player.
I might try Webster on him & leave Joel in to protect
the middle if the game is close down the stretch.. .
Outlaws wingspan would work good since Artest has
little hops but Artest would out-power Outlaw.. .

Since Roy will be the best player in the game, I think LMA will have a little more help than Al.

But they have Foye, and his PER48 is nearly identical to Roy's!

Cheap shot.... I know...

How can you talk about lack of a "tough defensive player" and then say "shotblocking and length are the only things I like about Joel Przybilla."d-train wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
I was specifically thinking of Webster when I concluded that Roy was the only tough defensive player we have with enough size to cover Artest. My favorite lineup is Joel on the bench. I like Joel's shot blocking timing and his length but that is all I like about him. IMO Joel's limitations cause more problems than his inside presents solves.

Pryz is our best defense, what exactly does he lack as a center that makes you feel he should be on the bench? Who do you suggest plays center(besides someone who is out the entire year due to a knee injury). Without Joel our rebounding ability and interior defense is terribly soft as many teams are able to get 2nd & 3rd chances(sometimes 4th chances) without his presence in the game. He's not the best there is, but he's the best we have right now. When Joel comes into the game, he makes a difference for the better.

Agreed.PhilipNelsonFan wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
Really. We can debate this in another thread, but I completely disagree. I love the fact that Nate uses 10- and 11-man rotations. To me, it means consistently fresh legs and the possibility that someone from the bench steps up for a great game.

no it wouldn't be a good "rotation"d-train wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
All I can say in response is a rotation of Michael Jordan and me would be a good SG rotation.
