You can't give a guy like Vince too much freedom , when Kidd was still here he was the one that pushed him ( at least in past seasons ) while Frank pampered him . So he hasn't felt he was pushed too hard like did in Toronto but still somewhat pushed.

Now nobody pushes him at all now and thats what you get when you don't push him.

but it's not like when kidd was here he was like this bullish player with his aggression determined to get to the hoop. What we see alot of now are the plays going to the RJ iso which is absurd. the play seems DESIGNED to have vince stand on the opposite end for a spot up shot. It's either that or he tries to use VC primarily as a playmaker which is a better idea but still does not get the most out of him. You have to mix it up. Teams will catch on to anything if you show it to them for 3 quarters straight and that's what frank does. I dont know what's in that allegedly huge playbook of frank's.

Judging by the way this team has played for 98% of the season, nothing that works on an NBA level. I don't think these "plays" would work against and And 1 team either.

how many threads are we gonna have about the SAME thing?

As many as it takes until that horse is turned into glue!!

If there's no reason to keep vince's contract, there is even less reason to keep RJ's. So what if RJ plays hard and tries to be a leader? He's not it.

You just answered your own question. Dont you want your players to play hard? He is not what? Playing hard?

EFF wrote:I think the vince situation is half his fault, half Frank's. If frank leaves him out, vince would have to overrule his decision on the floor and we all know he's not that type of guy. Someone needs to go tell frank RJ is a 2nd-3rd option since he's obviously confused about that.

When will you guys get it. VC doesnt want to be the main guy. Main guys yell at their teammates for the ball. Kobe, MJ, Lebron and Wade want the ball. VC just doesnt want the ball. He kept passing the ball to Kidd behind the 3 pt line when VC was open.

I dont want anything to do with VC and Thorn knows it too. Thorn knows when to deal people. Dont worry Thorn wants VC out of here but the price has to be right.

VC is the most amazing SG in Nets history. He is going to the HOF.

Kobe "Ship his ass out"

Seriously.. I think we should trade RJ since I think he'll have great value come this off season.

I'll be praying for a top 3 pick and We can trade RJ for picks to youth with great potential.

Maybe even swing for Mike Miller from Grizz this off season.

The best part of a VC trade is that all of the Vince only fans will be gone when Vince is .

I hope Swift will be included in a Vince deal so not only Vince fans are gone but Swifts too .

That'd be great . Two birds killed with one stone.

I'll be the first to admit I will definitely post much less once (if) VC is gone.

That being said, show me posts / posters that are VC fans that are making this board so unbearable for you that it will be the 'best part' when they are gone.

I'm obviously bias but I try to stay objective in my critique of the team including VC and really I think the pro-VC posters (in general) are articulate in discussions and are not as "emotional" or haphazard in their posts as anti-VC people....

...but in principle I understand where you are coming from wanting the forum to be true Nets fans.

Ship RJ AND VC. It's pointless to have them on this team at this point. Just stock up on young talent/picks and reboot.

I'm so incredibly frustrated with Vince right now , i can't stand the guys trying to give all the blame to the rest of the team , RJ or the coach while Vince deserves it just as much the complete team and the coaching staff .

DR. J

It pisses me off when people don't give him his props. He was EASILY the best Net in history, it's too bad he doesn't get any recognition these days. MJ before MJ.

Winning two championships, three MVP trophies, and three scoring titles during his tenure here should of ensured that he'd be more recognized.

Yeah, but people were saying the same about Kidd.

I'm sorry but there is no way that Kidd is superior to Erving.

He's still somewhat young, and will still be in his prime in 3-4 years.

He's improved his game every season he's been in the league.

RJ and Harris are our foundation right now.

I agree...unless some blockbuster comes knocking on our door...he's a keeper...we all know the pros and cons of these sort of trades whether shipping out Vince and/or RJ...you have to be careful in this situation...and be very particular...

I definitely see RJ's gaming having the ability to expand...and I believe it should with Kidd gone...

last night, RJ brough his A game...we need more of that, with Vince playing a similar role as he did vs. the Cavs...though I would like to see more points out of him...
