What is the rule about picking up free agents before the playoffs? I cant seem to find the exact rule but isnt there a deadline about picking up FA a month before the playoffs or something like that for them to be available to play? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I think a guy has to be waived by March 1st or already a free agent at that point.
