Warriors vs Rockets loser leaves town!

Post#1 » by Twinkie defense » Fri Mar 21, 2008 10:08 am

Gametime: 7:30pm
TV: FSNBA - P L U S ? uh-oh.

Season series: Warriors lead 2-1

Probable starters:

For Houston (46-22, #3 in the crazy West):

"My name is Tracy but I'm a guy... and I'm not Scottish" McGrady
(PS-if eets not scotteesh, eets crap!)
Rafer "Skip 2 My Lou" Alston
Dikembe "how many languages do you speak, monkey?" Mutombo
Image
Nice 'do, Deke
Shane "I'm not Rudy Gay, I'm a role player" Battier (Batier - isn't that a pastry that comes with coffee in New Orleans?"
Luis "ROY, I am Sportscenter in Argentina" Scola

Your Golden State Warriors (42-25, #8 ):

Monta "M8E" Ellis
Baron "B-Diddy" Davis
Andris "Goose" Biedrins
Stephen "Stack Jack" Jackson
Image
"I pray I don't hafta use this"
Mikael "Abyss Impact" Pietrus (AKA French Sexy)

Storyline: 2.5 up on the woeful Nuggs, should the Warriors win? Can they pass Dallas and avoid a matchup with LA? Or should they lose and help the Rox? Too many games to go, gotta keep winnin'.

Side story: Warriors can surpass their 2006-2007 win total with a victory tonight, and move to within 1/2 of Dallas for the #7 spot.

Good luck eye candy of the day:

And why did this come up under a Google search for "Dikembe Mutombo finger wag?!"

Apologies to zero for the headless woman

Nice thread, TD. I could see that picture associated with finger wag, but how the hell Mutombo got in there is beyond me.

Floppy, time to activate the jersey? The W's need this one.

Monta yelling out "Goose" last game when he wanted an outlet pass made me chuckle a little.

Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis were at a club in SF last night. Lets hope they didn't get too drunk.

As long as BD wasn't around to pork out on creamy pasta dishes after getting his drink on, it won't be a problem.

Oh no, Monta's starting to hang around with Jack? That's scary. Look what happened to Tinsley.

What's funny to me is Boomsama's beard.

I'll bet that if he shaved that off and went to cleaned up goatee, half the posters would say "Baron looks like he's really been taking care of his body."

The guys in great shape. He's solid as a rock. That Al Queda beard of his adds 20 pounds.

I think you got that backwards.

Tinsley's the one who led Jack (and everyone else) bad.

The pacers should be carting him on and off the floor to a secure isolation unit between games in that Hannibal Lecter full body & mouth restraint gernie setup.

Heh . . .when he finally trimmed it to clean the neck scruff all the "Baron's a fat bastard" posts dissapeared already.

But he did get off his conditioning program this year. He definitely has had trouble maintaining with all the bumps, knicks and tweaks his legs have taken this season.

I always thought Tins was the bad apple. I think the league knows this which is why they can't unload him.

Well I haven't seen Baron riding the training cycle during the games I've been to this year, so we're ahead of the game.

Loved the end of the last game where Baron had his arm draped around Goose's neck and they were laughing their asses of at Kostard.

That to me was special and I love the chemistry on this team.

Bonding over the comically horrible play of a tall European stiff...

This board could learn a lot from those two

I have a prior commitment and most likely can't watch the game live. It's possible Fantasia will cancel out on me though - if she does, me and the jersey are there.

edit: That sure read differently before I added the comma.

Davis has already admitted that he has to drop a few lbs. for the stretch run.
