Now that guy was an intriguing talent. Didn't he also have some off-court issues? Whatever happened to him?

All he wanted to do was dunk. He had very little interest in learning to play basketball. He'd have made a great globetrotter.

Turns out Carlos played eight season in the NBA... never impressive numbers, but that's impressive longevity. Part of that I'm sure was because he's 6' 11".

In the summer before Nellie's final, partial season in Oakland, Carlos was drafted by the Sonics and moved to Oakland for Sarunas Marciulionis, along with some other guys involved on both sides, and a couple 2nd round picks from the Sonics. Later, without Nellie, Carlos was sent in a package that brought the great BJ ARMSTRONG to Oakland!

I don't remember exactly when Sarunas broke down, but that would put Nellie's smalls for bigs moves at 0 for 2, though Wright is looking like 3rd times a charm.

As a rookie for the Warriors Carlos once grabbed 17 boards in a game. The next year, with the Raptors, he started at SF - sounds like a Nellie pick, huh - 6' 11" small forward?

Before Carlos made it to the NBA, he offered to donate his kidney to his sister, Rene, who declined the offer so he could achieve his dream of playing in the NBA. His sister recieved a cadaver kidney, which unfortunately failed, and she passed away soon after Carlos was drafted.

I totally disagree about Wright. I think he's a non-factor and isn't ready to contribute right now, but POB... I have no idea what happened there.

POB has talent and ability that could have really helped GSW. I hope the Cavs take a serious look at him. I think I heard the Cavs like him.
