In addition this is a big mental toughness check.... Their ego's are crushed right now and they might come in against Washington thinking that they'd lose. Let us see what happens.

If I have to watch that damn mother **** stack play at the end of a game again, I'm going to kill someone.

Its killing you that bad bruh ! I think you got a pass on LO tonight.

If Lamar can't get a excuse for the flu, then Kobe shouldnt get a excuse for the sprained ankle and using that as a excuse for his poor defense on Baron Davis and Jason Richardson. Lets be realistic here. There was nothing wrong with Kobe's ankle. He just struggles against brotha's who dont fear him.

Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson look at Kobe like - YOU AINT NOBODY

You can see it in there expressions. Even though Baron compliments Kobe in interviews when they go head to head he isnt intimidated like Mike Miller and Javaris Crittitenton.

what I can't stand is Lamar smiling after he misses that three that would have tied it down the stretch. does he have any competitiveness?

lamar smiles when he's in a tough situation. he's always done it. a lot of people do it. its not a sign that he's happy. do u honestly think he's smiling cause he's happy after missing a FT/big shot/etc?

no, of course I don't think he's happy. What appears to me through that smile is that he passes it off and it doesn't cut right to his heart and piss him off like it should.

personally i think he should be thinking about that shot well after he misses it, upset at blowing the opportunity to beat his opponent.

who says it doesn't? that smile is more of a sign of someone who is nervous as hell who wants to appear calm. says nothing about him not caring.

I don't understand why the ball frequently ends up in Lamar's hands when the game is on the line. Lamar is the definition of choke. He can't handle the pressure. It's ridiculous how feeble minded he is.

I'm so sad and disappointed right now.

I get up at 3:30 AM to watch my favourite team pound on the Grizzlies and I get Bryant's meaningless 53 points and every other Laker playing like crap. The sun was rising and a tear almost rolled down my cheek.

I haven't felt this bad because of a loss in a long time (and the last time I was really emotionally attached to a team was when my hometown basketball club played in the Euroleague and went to the Final Four).

22-67 shooting from the players not named Kobe and 19-37 from him. 45 threes?

Kill me now.

45 three pointeers, thats true and sad.

we attemped 104 shots and the just 81. think again and ask me how we can lose that one!

In finland the game was at 04:30 am. :banghead:

I will not wake up at 3.30/4.30 AM to watch this crappy team anymore till the beginning of the post-season (if we make the playoffs). I can

Who's been bashing Lamar for this game? I think everybody understands that it was warrior-like of Lamar to play this game even though he was very sick. Also, he had an okay game despite being very sick.

You do happen to realise that Kobe is generally actually a pretty good defender of both Jackson and Davis, right? They may look at him like that but that doesn't mean he can't defend them.

Kobe also wasn't really guarding Richardson against Charlotte (not that his defense was great against them).

Spanish_Laker I feel you. I won't wake up to watch these last 9 games. I'm just moping around the next day, without any energy and am bitter and snappy to my family and friends.

I'll just not look at the boxscore and watch the replay the first thing in the morning.

Even the weather sympathizes today apparently. 10 degrees, cloudy skies and a **** of rain. :(
