You do happen to realise that Kobe is generally actually a pretty good defender of both Jackson and Davis, right? They may look at him like that but that doesn't mean he can't defend them.

Kobe also wasn't really guarding Richardson against Charlotte (not that his defense was great against them).

incontrol why bother? those comments that he posted should give you a very good indication of where he is coming from. how this loss turned into a kobe vs lamar thing with him is beyond me. I notice that there are a few people that just have to find a way to bash kobe no matter what. i think it's just better to let those have their say, than to trya nd argue.

no, of course I don't think he's happy. What appears to me through that smile is that he passes it off and it doesn't cut right to his heart and piss him off like it should.

personally i think he should be thinking about that shot well after he misses it, upset at blowing the opportunity to beat his opponent.

yeah...get piss, then earn technicals and be on verge of suspension right?

When has he got a T after a game-winning shot opportunity?

the team should know the dude is NOT clutch...why give him the ball? i mean...u can give him the ball, he can run things, but he shouldnt be put in the situation where he has to be kobe.

Suns lost to the Hawks, Timberwolves twice, Clippers, Heat, Sixers, Lakers three times. That's six teams that don't stand a chance if they meet in the playoffs with a total of 9 losses. Yes, i put the Lakers there because they were playing well in the wrong time of the season. Games aren't won on Christmas day, 2nd game of the year, they are decided when it matters. Hopefully Kobe finds out that game seven really do matter, and games like the 81 against the Raptors (lottery team) don't.

LMAO! since when have the suns ever won when it mattered? Also a win is a win. all 82 count, especially in the west. anyone tryng to take anything from kobe's 81 point game is a hater, and nothing more.

..not sure what that has to do with the fact that he has tyhe nerve to smile and seemingly shrug off the fact that he just lost an opportunity to win the game.

He did it when he missed a free throw with seconds left a few games back too.

Thats the way I see it. As if he doesnt care. Like it doesnt really matter to him that he didnt give his team the win.

Of course, thats just my opinion. Yours might ve the complete opposite, and thats fine too.

Its just the way we interpret it.

So having a out of control temper tantrum means you care more.

Im not sure if that was a question or not, since you never use ? marks.

I never said anything about temper tantrums. I said I dont like the fact that the man smiles and seemingly giggles after realizing the fact that he failed to win the game for his team.

There is another player on the team that does play with a temper. My point is do you think playing with a temper means you care more?

Being a good rebounder requires hard work. Being a great scorer, does not require as much hard work.

I just don't look at the grin as a laugh grin. It looked more like a painful grin to me. Like darn i should have made that shot

Lamar is not well liked so it's expected when he gets nitpicked on after 23 straight consistent games.

No, but that point is beside the topic.

Its not like this player brusts into a tirade after missing a free throw.

wow. Youve serioulsy hit a new low.

How many "good" rebounders are there in the NBA?

How many "great" scorers are there in the NBA?

Off the top of my head:

Good rebounders in the NBA (no order):

-Lamar Odom
-Tyson Chandler
-Marcus Camby
-Dwight Howard
-Sam Dalembert
-Al Jefferson
-Tim Duncan
-Carlos Boozer
-Yao Ming
-Emeka Okafor
-Shawn Marion
-Andrew Bynum
-Al Horford
-Antawn Jamison
-Kevin Ganett
-Many more

Now, off the top of my head, here's my list of "Great" scorers.

-Kobe Bryant
-Lebron James
-Allen Iverson

Do you think this differential in players that fit the given categories has to do with the fact that it is a lot harder to become one over the other?

23 straight consistent games shouldnt be considered a crowning achievement.

Consistency should be the norm.

Its like praising a car when it turns on once in a while. Its what its supposed to do. Thats its job.

BTW, Lamar had two points last night, just to add to his consistency.

Sig worthy.. wow, I am at a loss of words.

Thats what you want to believe. Lamar is more liked then you think. Me/we just want him to play the way he has played the past 23 games... always. Since we know he can do it, there should be no more excuses moving forward.

I am not going to blame him for is stats last night, he was sick. He gets a pass.

On the offensive end if you are just shooting a bunch of jump shots and not attacking the basket, that does does not require a lot of work.

Work on offense is attacking the paint in a close game and getting to the free throw line. Not taking 25 footers

We are beginning to do that of late

The Lakers leader has not attacked the basket or played any defense of late so i dont see where there is a lot of work involved.

Just let Baron Davis and Jason Richardson blow right by you and take it out the net so you can shoot another jumper.

By the way Lamar has been the most consistent Laker. He has not had 3 straight games of

11-30

10-30

8-21

From the Field. Maybe its the 1# option who needs to be a more consistent 50% shooter. Efficient. Not just a 45% volume shooter like Gilbert Arenas.
