OT:Magic's Dwight Howard faces paternity suit

It means Royce wants to have a court establish what Dwight contributes to their child's support. It doesn't mean Dwight isn't willing to support the child, but kids take a couple of decades to grow up and people' attitudes change over that time. It's just something one has to do if not married to the other parent of one's child.

This same thing happened to Dennis Scott over 10 years ago with another woman who wanted more money. As I recall, it was actually a case that was to set presedent in these type of cases.

I do wish that Dwight's personal life would not have gotten out but do not believe he would not support his kid.

He is a great young man and I support him 100 percent in all aspects of his life. Hopefully, this will be resolved privately.

I said they broke up two years ago the rest you can re-read. Nothing contradictory about what I wrote it's just that you don't seem to want to understand what I wrote.
Part of the information came from her own MySpace website from her own blog which she deleted when she realized people were reading what she had posted about Dwight and those posts were not all that nice.
She now has her own website called RoyceReedSuperStar that should tell you something about her.

Child Support is determined by chapter 61.30 Florida Statutes. In general terms the child support will be $1,437.00 per month for the first $10,000.00 of net income. Then add 5% of all net income over $10,000.00 per month. The Dennis Scott case had to do with the argument that his child did not need $350,000.00 per year to live. The argument at trial was that his child made more than the average lower level NBA player. Unfortunately the argument fell on deaf ears and he paid a butt load of child support. I have clients that pay $10,000.00 to 20,000,00 in cumulative child support per month. My biggest cases were Cecil Fielder and Ed McMahon's wife. There can be some big awards for Child Support and Alimony. Dwight is actually lucky he wasnt married and established a "standard of living" which would dictate Alimony.

Funny thing is that these children make the same amount of money per year as their parents lawyers and they havent even gotten out of diapers yet. My Mom should have humped a superstar. Damn!!!
