I don't want to spoil your big trade, but I think you guys used the TE wrong... if I'm not mistaken TE cannot be combined with players (it is received by portland with a bunch of players), and also I think a TE can only be used to require one player (in this case it gets them 3)... i could be wrong but I don't think it's allowed

we figured that out too and we were concerned about it, but if you think about it, I'm just going to piece by piece trade it to Houston anyway
so rather than saying Trade 1: TE for Mourning, Trade 2: TE for Caroll, etc etc, it gets kind of dumb, so we just fitted it into one, so.... is it really necessary to go through all that?
Financially I can just absorb what Houston is getting anyway, and by posting one trade for a portion TE over and over again, it'll just look dumb

The Dallas Mavericks accept.
We are losing a ton of talent and assets in Devin Harris and Shawn Marion, however we feel that it is worthwhile to part with such 2nd tier assets for BOOOOOOOOOOOOM DIZZLE. As a Mavs fan I have grown to respect what Baron Davis can do. The guy is an absolute BEAST. I will now be going forward with one of the best trios in the NBA with Nowitzki-Howard-Davis.
Another positive from this deal is the amount of attitude and toughness I get in the deal. Dallas can no longer be known as the soft team of before. You CANNOT get a more badass backcourt than Posey-Howard-Davis. This brings just so much attitude to this team and I think this deal definitely makes me a title contender.
As the cherry on top, I get rid of Jerry Brickhouse!
E Dampier
D Nowitzki
J Posey
J Howard
B Davis

Ok that's fine than how did portland end up with all of the TE... It's fine for Houston to do it to get those players but then how did portland get the TE from all the other teams... also sterncohen is right and carroll salary is 5.45; does it still work with that salary as well.

sterncohen wrote:Awesome eight-way trade. Check your salaries, though: Matt Carroll is listed at $3.6M and his actual salary is $5.45M.
I Fixed it up now, thanks for noticing, check it if u want =)

Because: I basically receive the players Houston gets, then send it to him for all the TE, it works out finanically. I fixed the trade slightly for myself and houston now, so dont panic =)

Warriors Accept. Sorry guys for delaying but it was VERY tough to trade Baron but getting 2 All-Stars for the Price of 1 is too good to pass up. I'm afraid Baron will leave after next year so that factors in. I lose Baron's toughness but I will look for some in the market now. I hope Darius retires at the end of the year so I can rid his contract.

Wait... wasn't the trade Gelabale for .8 million TPE? Did you change it? Also, if you did, the Rockets waived Curry right before he accepted the big trade. BTW, check your email, Zong.zong wrote:The Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers Have Agreed on a 2nd Trade:

I'm hoping this is just a honest mistake, but the math here is incorrect. just by using common sense, you can tell that it's wrong. 1.381*1.25 is 1.7625, so this trade doesn't work.
