1) I don't think he's as good a scorer as Gordon
2) I don't think he can play PG in the NBA
3) Wolves already have Foye in that mold
4) I thought he said he was going back to school?
I agree that he's an awful lot like Foye and he's definitely a combo guard, but he's still more PG-like than Gordon in my eyes. I'm not dissing Gordon love, I'm just wondering why there's none for Bayless. As far as redundancy goes: I'm all about the BPA redundant or not.
Unless it's been cleared up since then Bayless' future looks up in the air right now:
Arizona freshman guard and local standout Jerryd Bayless will not enter the 2008 NBA Draft - instead opting to return to Arizona for his sophomore season, according to highly touted incoming freshman Brandon Jennings. Jennings, ESPN's top ranked prospect, told Sports 620 KTAR he spoke with Bayless before he participated in the 2008 McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday night. Sports 620 KTAR / March 28
But according to Bayless' mom, Denise Bowman, no decision has been made about Bayless' future one way or another in terms of leaving the program for the NBA or returning. "He has not made a commitment to comeback to Arizona (or to leave),'' Bowman said Friday afternoon in a telephone interview. "You're going to hear a lot of things back and fourth but we haven't said anything. Until we say it,
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.
