Some feel that he has an attitude problem, and lacks the discipline to be coached ... He occasionally coasts through entire games

PG: Rose, Bayless, Augustin
SG: Mayo, Batum, Gordon, Westbrook
SF: Randolph, Smith
PF: Beasely, Arthur
C: Thabeet, Jordan, McGee, Lopez

- PG: we don't really need a pg but thats the order I'd pick them.
- SG: Gordon is just too small and I like Mayo too much, plus Batum has a lottttt of potential
- SF: We don't need a player like Gallinari on the team because he's more of a point forward. Randolph has so much potential it'd be hard to pass on a guy like him.
- PF: Not much to say about this one
- C: Ok here's the thing, I really like Thabeet haha I mean he plays great D so he'd be good with Nenad and he's still got a lot of potential to score down low. Jordan makes second on potential alone (although he should deff stay in college and work on his game). McGee is a guy I really like. Lopez is a guy I'm just not sold on, idk why but I'm just not.

I like Arthur go Jayhawks!!! We have plenty of power forwards the team needs a center more.
What this team really needs is shooters.
The Nets should draft shooters with the first and second rd pick.
I got the burner-Kevin Durant

I was just looking at the ESPN Lottery Mock Draft and it has us picking Jordan with the 11th pick. I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this.

Personally I love this pick. Think about it, it's not like we need someone to come in here right away, is most nba ready and will make a difference in this team. I believe next year we'll be a different team with Devin having the summer and a full year to mesh with the team and Krstic coming back and hopefully a swill that improves. So why not take a chance on this guy.

Then with the Dallas pick (if they make the playoffs) we could pray that batum falls to us although I doubt it. Or pick someone like Tyler Smith or Brandon Rush for some bench help. Then in the second round I'd be so happy if we could draft Roby.

Overall my draft would be Jordan, then Batum/Rush/Smith and Roby in the second round. Thoughts?

Oh yeah how far do you think we could move up if we packaged the Dallas pick with someone like Boone and maybe even Marcus? I was just wondering this as I was thinking of ways to get another good pick without trading a core player.

Edit: haha I was just looking at my last post and what can I say I changed my tune haha

I'd hate a Jordan pick this guy's going to be a big BUST mark it down. He may have the talent but not the character and passion to become good .

We need immidiat help at the wing and not hope somewhere down the road a big guy without much skills may develop into something.

I can't see us wasting a lottery pick on another project big especially condisdering who you can have instead on positions where you need help , he's got way way too much bust potential .

Beasley is the guy everyone wants most of course but some other guys I would like for both of our picks:

Gordon
Rose
Budinger
Speights - I'm worried about the work ethic I've heard of though
Griffin
CDR
Courtney Lee

I'm still on the fence with Love, Hansbrough, and Mayo. I haven't seen enough of Gallinari or Batum, but I want to shy away from SFs since IMO they are the easiest position to fill.

If guys like Gordon and Rose measure out at 6'4" or up then they are at the top of my board. I think Rose, as long as he can guard SGs, would be great alongside Harris.

Since our draft is probably going to go SG & C in the 1st round, who do you think starts next year down low? I think it will be Boone & Krstic again with the rookie and SWAT off the bench. I don't want another mid level big man again though. With our 1A pick, we should go with an elite C. One who actually has a dominant post game.

I really don't like bigs at our range this year way too many guys that look like busts and it's not like there's some bigtime post scorer available where we draft . We need some veteran backup coming off the bench when he's needed .

Somebody cheap to come off the bench who knows what he was to do and knows his role and maybe help the young guys with his experience .

I'm not completely sold in a frontcourt with just young guys .
He doesn't have to be that good , a veteran like PJ Brown but not chasing a ring willing help young guys . A DA on the C/PF position.

I'd rather take a wing play him ~20 MPG as RJ and/or Vince backup and let him learn from our veterans .

With the Tourney he had, he is a lotto pick now, and he deserves it.

He may be a guy we would look at with a pick like the 11th.

Can't see him getting out this year his body is far from NBA ready . He's a great shooter but i don't think he's ready to compete at the NBA level.

If he came out this year he is a lotto pick though.

At least a definite 1st rounder.

Curry is no lottery pick. I would pick him with the Dallas pick if they make the playoffs though. He is a very smart player and he plays good defense. He can play a role in the NBA.

There is NO way Curry would be a lotto pick. Besides he said he's gonna return for his Junior season.

With that kind of body nobody would pick him in the lottery .

A guy I'm getting pretty high on right now if Blake Griffin. Is there anyway we could get another lotto pick to grab this guy. What about Carter to LAC, CHI or CHA? My ideal draft would be Griffin, Jordan and Rush for the first round as of right now.

Douglas-Roberts or Rush for the Dallas pick...unless we get OJ Mayo or Eric Gordon for the lotto pick...we need shooters and defenders, athletes at the 2/3 off the bench. Assuming we keep our core. We need a plan...have a direction with how we're going in the draft and with trades.
Walk away from this ASAP.

what we truly need is a post presence. Griffin can be that. Start him with Krstic and Boone + SWill coming off the bench. Then Jordan can be a good project to have since his potential is so high. Then we can fill the 2/3 and shooter need with the Dallas pick and our second. A guy like Rush is perfect for the Dallas pick and maybe someone like Roby, Mbah a Moute or Coutney Lee with the second rounder.
Seriously though what we truly need is a post presence. You need to rebuild from the inside out. As long as we get 2/3's that play defence and knock down outside shots were set. Harris who can penetrate and run the point. 2/3s that can shoot and play defense. And continually pounding the ball down low to Griffin and Krstic.

I'm all for best player available, but where is Frank going to play a post player? Behind Krstic, Boone, Sean Williams, Swift, Diop? Sure, we could lose Diop in FA, or make a trade, but I def. think we need a 2/3 to back Vnce and RJ...right now its only Hassell, Boki and Ager, and Boki may (or should) be gone.
Walk away from this ASAP.
