Cleveland lost today, and if the Wiz win, they'll be 2 games back. The losses to the Bucks and Lakers were huge.

Cleveland is 2 games ahead of us.
Philly is 1 game behind us.
Toronto is 2 games behind us.

Currently, we have the tiebreaker advantage over Cleveland. We're 2-2 head-to-head, so the next tiebreaker is conference record. Our conference record is 26-21. They're 25-22.

We have the tiebreaker over Toronto based on head-to-head record. The tiebreaker advantage vis-a-vis Philly will go to the victor of our upcoming head-to-head game.

Washington's Remaining Schedule:
Boston
@ Detroit
Philly (B2B)
Indy
@ Orlando

Cleveland's Remaining Schedule:
Jersey
@ Chicago
Miami
@ Philly (B2B)
Detroit

Philly's Remaining Schedule:
Detroit
Indy
@ Washington
Cleveland
@ Charlotte

Cleveland will be tough to catch because they're already sure to win the Miami game and almost certain to win the Chicago game. They would need to lose 2 of the remaining 3 coupled with us running the table in order for us to catch them.

We're in great shape against Toronto. Basically, they have to make up 3 wins on us in just 5 games. Any combination of Washington wins plus Toronto losses totaling 3 or more will get us the 6th seed or better.

We're in equally good shape against Philly IF we can beat them at home. It we win that, any combination of Washington wins plus Philly losses totaling 2 (in the other 4 games) will get us the 5th or better seed. However, if we lose that game, then we're effectively a game behind them because we lose the tiebreaker too. We'd have to win more game than them in the other 4 games.

Nate, the one thing is that the Bulls HATE the Cavs for some reason. Hughes and Gooden will get up for that game. They'll play for that game, and its in Chicago. Plus, Detroit IMO will want to beat Cleveland in Detroit to prove a point. Miami is the only gimme game for the Cavs.
