Did anyone just see the new Mark Madsen celebrating after that last made shot? Hilarious.

I think you're putting a *little* too much emphasis on one game. Which is probably because you believe it's re-affirming your opinion, but you're still putting too much stock in one game, IMO. The biggest questions about Arthur have nothing to do with championship games, but in games against mid-major teams in December. It's all about focus and constant effort with Arthur, not talent or athleticism.

It probably would not be hard to trade from 17 to 13 if Ed believes in Arthur's potential enough to value him like you do, so don't be worried.

Derrick Rose is okay. Steve Francis without the big time scoring ability. I'd most likely pass him over in the draft, the only way that I would draft him is if the draft is so bad that he is literally the second best NBA prospect. I think that he has to be overrated, the draft can't be THAT lacking in NBA prospects.

Well Beasley is a lock to have at least a good NBA career.
Rose has a better shot of being a superstar, but its less cut and dry projecting his NBA game.
Will he grow to be a great PG. Will his offense be enough for him to be a DWade like 2G, or will he just be a good player who is somewhat of a tweener?

I think Rose will go on to win in the NBA meanwhile... this was CDR's chance to win a championship as one of the key cogs and he also blew it. I just watched the post-game press conference and CDR doesn't look like he'll be having a peaceful night of sleep for the next 10 years.

I wouldn't be shocked if in 5 years we're talking about how Anthony Randolph should have been the top pick. Then again, I also wouldn't be shocked if we're talking about Randolph the same way we're currently talking about Gerald Green.
This draft is just such a wild one which is good since we're not banking on someone from this pick to turn us from a 20 win team to a 40+ win team. We already are a 40+ win team and so anything we can get from this draft is just gravy..... Darrell Arthur should be that gravy.

Bingo. Rose is only 6'3" and I don't think that he can palm a basketball like many of the great shorter scorers like AI and Wade. Derrick Rose is definitely a PG, just not a PG with great passing ability. He's no better a passer than guys like T-mac, Vince Carter etc...A true PG can attack a defense with his passing, Rose attacks the defense with penetration then makes a simple pass to the open man once the defense collapses on him. AI does that all game long but he still to this day isn't considered a PG, he doesn't even consider himself a PG. Also Rose's jump shot is kinda flat like Steve Francis shot. I could never look at Derrick Rose and view him as the second best prospect in an NBA draft.
