i couldn't find any info on the time they would start selling them. i checked in when i woke up and the santa barbara bowl was already sold out

i'm guessing that they only sold a small amount of tix through their site. ticketbastard is showing the hollywood bowl tix go on sale Friday at 10AM but the santa barbara bowl show is not listed yet. i had 4 tix @ $65 each for the white river amphitheatre (section 200) in WA lined up, but my wife talked me out of getting them. those are being listed on ticketstub between $170 to $240 each..........ugh!
my hollywood bowl tix are listed as reserved seats P2 so i'm hoping that indicates Promenade II, which look like pretty good seats.
EDIT: Santa Barbara Bowl's site is showing that the tix go on sale @ 10AM on Saturday

Hey, CC, whom of the rockstars do you like the best ? I also like rock music so I'd wish to find out, I know you play the guitar great !
I'm not sure which kind of Rockstar you mean. Do you mean All time, current star, underground? Guitar players or any rockstar?
My guitar playing is ok, I get by with good players, but my strengths are words, melodies, and voice. EE is a key player and he might be better at guitar than I am... I'm sure he knows the theory much much better.

Sash,
Guitar players, hmmm...
Personal favorite that I would want if I started up my own band: The Edge, hands down. The guy is an under appreciated genius. I'm a firm believer in that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication, and The Edge serves as substantial proof..
When it comes to listening to guitar players, it's all about honesty and pure raw emotion for me. Ill justified showboating on the guitar is a pet peeve in life, and absolutely horrific and upsetting to listen to. In my opinion, it needs to come out of a flow

anyone know why Jules Winnfield got waived?
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

The Scorpions
have you heard 'lonesome crow' by the scorpions? it's my favorite scorps album but it's really different than the others. Michael Schenker plays lead guitar on that album (next album uli roth comes aboard). michael is only 15 or 16 when they make 'lonesome crow' and he's awesome on guitar.

Uli Roth is a monster guitar player. If he only also had the good judgment not to sing or write songs...
By the way, Uli was a total Hendrix freak. He even dated Monica Danneman, whom Jimi Hendrix was dating at the time of his death.
(Some Hendrix fans seem to suspect that she "helped" him overdose, because her story for that night simply doesn't add up.)

Can you please switch to this one? Pretty much the same sig, but a little smaller and a little cropped. Thanks.

Sasha-
I agree with EE's guitar picks. I would also add Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers for the same reasons he likes the Edge.
You can't really say Clapton is overrated because he had as much more to do with modern guitar sounds than Hendrix. Did you know Hendrix really only had a two year career and never had a #1 btw?
Eric Bell from Thin Lizzy is also a pretty big influence on all kinds of serious bands including Metallica
I think someday you'll hear about Camp O'neil too.
For Country I'm going with Jonathan McEuen

i think the hendrix 2 year thing might be off a bit or maybe it depends on thinking of him strictly with the experience. he played backup for guys like litte richard in 65. in late 66 the experience released their first single and they broke up in early 69. after that, jimi played with the band of gypsys through early 70 and then came back with the experience (billy cox subbing for redding) thru the summer of 70. in 1970 he wrote most of the material that was released on 'cryof love' after his death.
here's another underrated guitarist..........billy gibbons of zz top. that man can play the blues

true. I meant solo since he's referred to mostly as a solo act. The New Years Band of Gypsies stuff is some of my favorite for sure, though.
