Nellie's not going to play AB15 and Brandan together in 09

Post#1 » by Sid the Squid » Thu Apr 17, 2008 5:39 pm

At least not for any substantial amout of time..It's never going to happen...Just wanted the Kool-Aid drinkers to know that..

If we got lucky and drafted Love, Nellie would never play him with another bigman...Nellie's completely gone off the deep end with his gimmick ball..

To those who think Nellie will walk away from 5.1 million? All I can say is.. :naaa: ..

C'mon LF, you want to ruin my day? At least wait until the start of the season to start that $hit. At least let me have some hope during this offseason.

Nelson has stated that before because having them both on the floor would affect the drive and dish games of Davis and Ellis making the team easier to defend.

The solution is Wright comes back with a jumper.

we saw them on the floor together this season... I think it'll happen more often.

I'm looking forward to NOT seeing Al(vin) and the midgets, or Dre and the midgets rebound on their own.

Wright's jumper from 4 months ago looks vastly improved. Hopefully Andris will get to use his 10 footer from time to time...

I wonder if we can steal a millsap/bass/maxiel...

Nellie 'ill make him a 3 point chucker yet. I can see it coming.

Question 1: When is Nellie going to admit that Biedrens can score?

Answer: When his shooting percentage drops and he starts shooting jumpers.

Question 2: When is Nellie going to admit that Biedrens is a good shot blocker?

Answer: Never. lol2

Question 3: Why does Nellie need to draft a shot blocker (we see in question 2 that Nellie's lying, Biedrens is a very good shotblocker.

Answer: So he can have a better excuse for playing Biedrens only 25 minutes per game.

Question 4: Why doesn't Nellie draft a power forward who can block shots?

Answer: a) see Question 3 b) because he doesn't need one, he already has one in BWright.

lol to more Nellie BS.

Conclusion: We don't need another Center, we need a power forward. All we need is a backup center who can block shots, we had one in O'Bryant (which we dissed and dismissed) and we still have a 7'2 guy who we signed for another 2 years (unless he's planning to move Beans to the 4 which I doubt since this would severly hamper his "small ball").

Thanks for the post Bob.

we have a PF, his name is Brandan Wright, check him out sometime.

Kosta is not a shotblocker, he is probably gonna get beat out by some tweener summer league scrub for the 15 spot on the roster. POB is gonzos, we do need a back-up C, a shot blocker, Thabeet will be the guy.

Who's Ajinca LF? Is he as good as Lasme?

edit: oops! I forgot Lasme wasn't a shot blocker, that's why we cut him.
Really, who is Ajinca LF? Is it just some name you made up? A distant cousin of Lasme? Sounds African.

Add 5 inches to Brandan's arms and you have Ajinca.

Sounds a little Manute like. Reason I'm asking is that you always have to ask yourself when you come across a guy you like who can defend and block shots would Nellie play him? Otherwise you might be just wasting your pick. The second question (if you think he will play him) is who do you think he will sit down if he does play him?

Thabeet cannot block my shot; he's just too damm raw and he gets beat up by the C.J. Watsons.

I was high on him.... till I saw him play.

You want a shot blocker, call Seattle and ask for Sene.

Nellie doesn't want a shotblocker, we had two in O'Bryant and Mbenga and a 3rd in Wright. He just wants to say we don't have any (one of his excuses as to why we suck so bad on defense). Draft another one and he probably won't play him (or he'll sit Andris and Wright more next year).
