hi-lites
*starting workouts under Tim Grover (MJ's old trainer) in Chicago on 5/5, Team USA starts training camp 6/27
* has had 5 weeks off
* will represent the Heat at the draft lottery on 5/20
* had he played in enough games, would have been #6 in the league in scoring average this year

I know he wants the gold, but he really should take this summer off for his health and his NBA team.

Last time he worked with Grover he came back jacked and won a championship. This is good news. Supposedly Dorell is going up with him too, so we might see some improvement there as well.

I wish he was training on just his game over the summer. Not worrying about winning games etc. but just in the gym everyday working on what made him great and improving the J. But Nike/Converse and Gatorade really won't be happy with its biggest star not capturing the Chinese market

Competition is what makes Dwyane Wade great.

lol huh? that sounds like an add. Playing a few years str8 of back to back competition when he went to the finals and played for USA is what wore him down and brought about all the problems. Also Wade has said the year he redshirted and sat out from basketball made him much better.

Miami's Finest, LeBron has played in more international games than Wade has and he's always come back stronger than ever. You're making no sense.

Wow in case you didn't know Wade had to sit out because of injuries. What does that have to do with Lebron? Miami fans would prefer for him to skip the Olympics and just get ready for next season.

I write for Nike commercials. Difference is this time Wade wouldn't be playing an entire season, followed by a Championship run, straight into team USA, and right back to the Heat. Wade will have a lot of time off regardless. Plus, he won't be having to hall too many minutes with all of the great perimeter players on the team. If anything, playing in the Olympics should be a good rehab for his game, body, and mind.

Another Nike line there for ya.

Will Wade make the team? Eric Reid made a point, that it will be hard to be one of the 12 players to make the team. Wade will have to show he is back to 100 percent to make it. But he does have the edge, because of being one of the bigger names. But making the team will be hard. Considering Wade probably has lost some of the hype around him, and we are not yet sure how ready will he be to play at such a high level.
