I hope Matrix request a number change through the league, going back to number back to 31, now that Ricky is surely to be gone.

I'm confident Cook can fill his role.

Peace out, Ricky Buckets.

Any team that gives him the MLE should be contracted.

I have much respect for Ricky playing through this whole season, but the guy is not worth 6 million. I said it before we traded for him and i'll say it again, the guy will rack up stats, but he will not win you games.

people are more down on Ricky cause of how bad the team was..but individually hes pretty decent, had to play out of position a lot...and that made him look bad defensively.

His role is a 6th man, but i dont think hes worth 6 million..

I like ricky, and I agree with cb4. We are really giving him a hard time but at least he went out there and tried.

But yeah, he isn't worth 6mill

with the way the market is today, I think Ricky is definitely worth 6 million

not for the Heat, as we don't need him as he is not a part of rebuilding plan, but a team will easily give him that

Why the hate on Ricky? The guy gave it his all every game while others quit.

I'm not down on him that much, but he's not getting anything more than a 1 year deal with a second year option. That's about the only way he's retained in Miami...If not, he's gone.

Summer of 09 flexibility will not hinderd for Ricky Buckets. That's for damn sure...

Just because he was out there every game doesn't mean he was giving it his all.

Ricky buckets is decent. But D.Cook can do everything he can. Im starting to think Cook is underrated on our board. Thenumber one reason i say let Ricky go is because it want Cook to get those minutes. The guy is a killer from down town and is the perfect player for wade.

Slow down there. DQ showed nice potential for a late 1st rounder but that's about it. He was very inconsistent with his performances and besides showing that he can hit shots when he is hot, he didn't show much else on the offensive side of the ball. As a defender he showed flashes with his athleticism but again, it was inconsistent to merit minutes.

IMO, he has the potential and needs a lot of work to become anything close to what Ricky Davis brings to the table but I wouldn't count on DQ as my 6th man next season yet; not without seeing he can handle that title for a whole season.

Cook is close to bringing what Davis brings. Like Riley said, he's definitely not far away.

When did Riley say that? Last thing I remember Riley said about Cook was that both his game and personality were immature and needed lots of work. He did admit to his talent but also challenged him to do more. Cook responded with a couple of good games to finish the season and an early commitment to Summer League work. Trust me, I hope it turns out that he can "at least" contribute what Ricky Davis does but you can't tell me that he is THAT player already and that you would rely on him to be your 6th man.

Yeah, Ricky quietly racked up a lot of assists. Cook needs to improve with that and rebounding consistently.

But yeah, Riley did say he's close to being a rotation player on a contender.

Ricky Davis, the player who played all of the 82 games for the Heat, the player who did not quit and stop playing because its a lost cause for Miami. Why the hate? All I know he behave well this season, unlike Shaq who . . . . .
