Can we please get started on the draft portion of this league. There have been 4 new trade posts that have actually been trades since April 4th. 2 of them involved Portland and the other two involved me. I am bored as f*ck and I think everyone is just waiting for the draft b4 they do anything else. Can we please move on. Are we going to wait until the Blazers GM runs out of trade ideas?

How about you act calm and sensible and maybe we can discuss this issue? If you would like for the draft to occur sooner, just say so and we'll explore our options. No need to act pissed off or anything.

I think its more that people are getting busy with the end of spring semester getting closer: lots of tests, papers, and presentations. People are so busy with school/work that they don't have time to think of trades. I think we should wait a minimum until the middle of May to start the draft.

I am not pissed I am just annoyed and bored. I am on spring break now and I wanted to push things foward while I had more than a week off.

The middle of May? What are we going to do until the middle of may. We've had 4 trades since April 4th. That's 4 trades in 17 days and half of them were mine. People will forget this thing exists if we wait until the middle of May.

Actually the middle of may is closer to 4 weeks than 2 weeks. I don't think we should be sitting around for 4 more weeks. While you and several other GMs are still somewhat active I know for a fact that most of the others aren't and the commissioner himself said so to me in an email. I think if we wait almost 4 weeks at the minimum then we might get to a point where we will have a draft with only a 3rd of the GMs.

That would be interesting
Also, I've been in a game like this before, where the games were simulated on NBA Live 08.... Just a suggestion

Yeah, that's called a SIM LEAGUE. This isn't one, and if we were doing it, I certainly wouldn't use that piece of garbage NBA Live 08

I think people have slowed down due to exams and stuff. Lets wait for another week and hopefully we'll get more activity. I have been emailing GM's. Don't really seem to get any sort of a reply out of them. I don't know if they just ignore the emails or are not active anymore.
Also, the shamsports website has been changed into a blog type deal. Doesn't have salary info anymore (Atleast I couldn't find it). Would the league please suggest any alternatives?
