Wish I had NBA TV. Give updates on DA if you want, Rip.

Thanks for the tip. I just flipped over there. I'm loving the announcers.

The brief time I saw was advantage Tiago Splitter over DA. Tau is playing with more intensity on the whole.

The announcers say that Andersen's baseline jumper is "Money in the Bank".

He's definitely scored and rebounded. That aren't rattling off many stats, so I have trouble giving a full stat line.

Turn around jumper over Splitter from right block. Count it.

This play he backed down the defender from the side and drove to the middle. Almost a good up and under move from DA, 2nd defender knocked it loose. He recovered to toss it out to Langdon.

Another play with the shot clock running down and he drains another from the corner.

David Andersen 14 pts, 7 for 7 from the field. Announcer says he's been perfect in the second half. Single-handedly killing Tau.

Add 2 to that he just followed a wild shot off the glass by a teammate at the end of a shot clock with a big slam.

8-8 16pts, 3 rebounds. I'm smelling POG for Andersen.

Earlier he showed good footwork in defending the pick and roll. CSKA by 4 with 43 seconds left. It's getting tense.

CSKA holds on to win by 4. They match up in the final with Tel Aviv Maccabi Elite. Maccabi has Esteban Batisti on their roster although he didn't play much in the semifinal game.

In conclusion, it's hard to compare the stats because the situation is so different with game styles and minutes. David Andersen looked real good with reasonable D and strong offensive game from a lot of different spots. Don't know how he would have played here, but I've got blame BK for low balling him in negotiations. He skill set looks like it would have fit in well here and helped the bench to round out.

I thought in an interview towards the end of the season BK said Andersen would be coming over next year.

Don't have the link, but can anyone else confirm/deny this?

Correct. Sekou reported this too.

Interesting stuff. At this point we need anyone who can make a jumper. I am pretty comfortable with our ability to score inside since i have to believe that Smith and Horford will continue to improve. Acie is always looking to drive and obviously JJ is tough in the post.

But we lack shooting.

Well this would be the year to bring him over. His contract is up. We can sign him before extending Smoove and Chillz.
