He did have a cry baby episode, but didn't throw his coach under the bus though.

O'Neal, on Game 4's Hack-a-Shaq: "I just find it quite funny that when you're up 20 that you do it. It still shows me that I'm the most-feared 36-year-old guy on the planet. But I would never do that. I would rather just play somebody and beat them."

This sounds like whining. The funny thing, is not that he is feared, is just that he sucks at freethrows, and Pop took advantage. It also disrupted the rhythm, and took the ball out other real treats like Nash and Amare even Diaw, Shaq was a huge liability out there, am extremely happy Shaq got dumped quick, the only thing that I was bugged about was that I wanted him to get swept though..

Next year Suns could have a hard time getting in the Playoffs. D'Antoni might be out, from some reports, Shaq will eat salary while making up some injury and taking vacation during the regular season. Nash a year older, and just to much pressure on Amare. Any injury, not the right coach, this team could turn into another Miami Heat. :P

it will be interesting to see who they get to replace Coach D -- the players were really set up for his system...

I wonder if Phoenix is sexy enough for Jeff Van Gundy to come back for -- they for sure will go with a defensive coach, otherwise what's the point in firing Coach D? Maybe Kerr will seal his own fate by naming himself coach?

I wonder if Shaq will ever utter the sentence "I make them when they count" again. Silly me, but I was always under the impression that FT's in the first quarter were worth as many points as FT's in the fourth quarter.

Its amazing at this point that Shaq still believes that Hack-a-Shaq is because they fear him. Hack-a-Shaq is not a tactic because teams fear Shaq...It is a tactic because teams fear his teammates. They know that Shaq will never beat a team from the line, and putting him there completely takes his teammates out of the game and disrupts offensive flow.

As much as I dislike Shaq for his immaturity, I feel sorry for him in a way. It is like everyone is in on the joke, except for him. He still believes that he is the baddest dude on the planet, as he likes to say, even as he has done nothing but drag his teams down the last 3 seasons.

I am just glad that Phoenix will have to deal with the twilight of Shaq's career, and not Miami. Things are not going to pretty there the next couple of seasons. Just wait until the injuries, griping, and finger pointing starts Suns fans. I feel bad for Nash because he plays the game the way it should be played, and Shaq prescence guarantee's that he will never sniff the finals.

Its a shame because I really feel like San Antonio was ripe for the picking this year. If they didn't deal Marion, I think that the Suns pace of play would have affected the aging Spurs this year more than it has in the past. Instead they went away from their strength and philosophy and played into their opponents.

How true is that? Teams foul Shaq because he's like a sitting duck. At this stage in his career, he's pretty much a liability on the floor. Factor in his contract and he's the most overpaid player in the league. I'm thankful he was here to help us win a title, but in the end, the way he dogged Orlando, LA and Miami when he left... this is justice. Too bad it came at the exspense of some very deserving Phoenix players like Steve Nash and Grant Hill.

I have much love for Caron. I know we had to give him up for Shaq...but man it has hurt since the trade rumors started.

Every time Boston knocks down a clutch shot I look and don't see Allen, Pierce or KG, I see POSEY!

Boston has the best record in the regular season but I doubt they will win a championship the way their playing.

Doc Rivers did not do a great job by drawing the play for the last 20sec. of game 6. Celts failed to execute a play and opted for Allen's 3pt shot instread of going to the post with KG.

Doc River's will take a lot of Heat if they failed to win a championship.

I hope Hawks beat down Boston on Sunday. People could blame the coach, but them players, K.G, Ray Allen, even Paul Pierce all their careers haven't done much in the Playoffs. Especially MR Big time overrated K.G, and its showing big time.

If they lose, I would be suprised it was this fast, vs the Hawks. But I never thought as them as Championship material I've seen K.G choke to many times to get to caught up with all the fake hype.

Hopefully the Hawks do the impossible though.

KG definitely gets on the very very hot seat if the Hawks miraculously win

K.G has only gotten out the first round once. He has continiously missed the Playoffs the previous years before joining Paul Pierce and Ray. Imagine if LeBron or Kobe continually missed them for so many years. The media would of attack them, pretty hard. Kobe got trashed hard, for that one year without Shaq not making them. K.G always gets all the excuses. The media pampering is a bit annoying.

I like Childress a lot but he'll get more than MLE probably.
