Zaza Pachulia Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by JoshB914 » Sat May 3, 2008 6:47 am

Say what you want about this guys ability. But he has shown in this series that he will do whatever it takes to help this team win. He has definetely earned my respect in this series and become one of my favorite players. Our season is over without him on the roster.

The Zaza I've seen in this series is the Zaza I remember from 2 years ago. Not the strongest finisher around the rim, but he played hard defensively and crashed the offensive boards. I'm happy to see him back!

I'm also pleased with his effort. He's played Garnett pretty well this series. It was nice to see him getting a nice ovation every time he was replaced. I'm also happy to see him play with so much energy. It was great to see him, J. Chill, and Horford celebrating after that basket. Great moments for these brave Hawks.
GO HAWKS.

I've criticized Zaza for 2-3 times actually, but that was when he really sucked big time.

But he really stepped up in this series, especially when he didn't let KG get the best of him. i.e. Game 4.

ALL HAIL ZAZA!

Indeed.

Dude played tough defense on KG all game. That one shot he hit where the ball rolled around the rim and went in sent the crowd around me into pandemonium.

How many times did they show that Zaza/Rocky clip last night?! He's become a crowd favorite! LOL! There were even people there with Zaza signs last night

Zaza is showing that he has some heart within and he's worth keeping around. His salary doesn't bother me one bit, it's the mistakes during the past, but Zaza has woke up for the playoffs.

Hah yeah, we had the "Zaza > KG" sign.

I saw someone post the postgame interview with Zaza at the arena on the general board, pretty great stuff.

the post game interview at the game with ZaZa was great. I think the whole team feed off his energy. Last night was one of the best, if not the best live sporting event I have every witnessed! ZaZa's injury had him off his game. He has his "mojo" back now. WoW what a great game.

This guy has been solid for you guys, has done all what was expected of him and beyond. He brings the toughness off the bench and wont back down from anyone.

GOOOOO HAWKS

(The whole league is pulling for your guys, well maybe not the Bostonians)
