Who will be the better NBA PG: Bayless or Mayo?

^ Yea, I agree about his stats. 20, 5, and 5 sounds about Mayo's potential, except unlike the players mentioned he has ALOT more leadership and bball IQ potential, as well as defense.

Why do people not know Mayo's position? He is pretty big. I mean he is one of the biggest names coming out of the draft and people don't even know what position he plays and they post at the draft site. I mean that is a pretty big thing not to know.
Mayo will play sg in the nba. Just because a guy can pass a dribble doesn't mean he will play pg in the nba. When he is undersized yes and Mayo is 6'4 but will be listed at 6'5. That is the same size as Ray Allen. Wade is 6'3 and a half listed at '6'4 and he plays sg. He is not Gilbert here guys. He is gonna play sg. Even Gil should play sg but Mayo is a sg.

I wasn't trying to say he will be a PG, but rather if he was put there.

For a guy like Mayo, the position he's listed at doesn't mean much. Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade are both listed at SG, but they often bring the ball up and in most cases run the offense the way you want your PG to do so.

Bryant and Wade are both more natural dribblers than Mayo is. They are more talented, they are more athetic, they are stronger....

I see Mayo being very similar to those two. No, he won't be listed at PG but he'll perform most of the functions of one.

Dwyane is 6-feet-3 and three-quarters of an inch, BAREFOOT. On top of that his wingspan is beyond freakish at 6-feet-10 and three-quarters. On top of that his athleticism blows Mayo's out of the water.

I watched every one of Wade's games at Marquette and almost all of Roy's his senior year. I honestly see Mayo having a very similar style of play to Wade. Mayo's a much better outside shooter and a better ball handler at the same age. Wade's better inside the circle and a better athlete.

But I see Mayo having a similar effect in the NBA. Saying he's the next Wade is going too far, but I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility.

I'd have no problems taking Mayo #1 overall in this draft.

Wasn't so much Wade I was worried about comparison's for (though I honestly don't believe Mayo will turn out to even be a Wade level player), it's being comparable to Kobe Bryant that I was stressing more so.
