Marcus Banks getting Serious

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Wed May 7, 2008 11:46 pm

Point guard Marcus Banks has decided to remain in South Beach this offseason to work out in hopes that he'll entice the team to keep him, according to the Miami Herald.

All signs point to the Heat trying to deal Banks as soon as they can this summer.

"If these guys see me around, they'll see I'm serious," Banks said.

Hopefully he is a man of his word. To me, Banks could be a great 6th man. The guy can play defense and hit a shot with the best of them. 4.5million for a young PG is not as bad as most say. But how much does this have to do with Quinn?

I don't care how hard he's working. What I care about is if his production improves. I remember every summer J-will was talking about how hard he was working and how his knees are great bla bla bla. And every year I kept saying "i'll believe it when I see it".
