even Mike Fratello said Perkins wasn't giving us anything. why is that so hard for people to admit?

Wow! Perkins is the only guy in the NBA to have a bad game. Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe cos Fratello and Stockton spent all night last night giving verbal BJs to the Cavs and LeBron? Hence no one believes their impartiality even when they're right?

But see I above, I thought Perk was crap last night...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

so you mean to tell me that Perk has been a big contributor in this series? what games have you been watching? what did he have last night, 1 point and 5 boards in 28 minutes? Is it a mystery that the moment we put baby in the game we started scoring in the paint? Yes, Perk plays tough D and he is a great guy but he gives us nothing on O and for a team that is struggling to score points we can't afford to have him on the floor in crunch time

I never said Perk's been great. I've been saying in threads anyone will listen to me that he's (Please Use More Appropriate Word) offensively.

Perks toughness and shot blocking shouldn't be overlooked...But I've come to the conclusion that he's too much of a liability on offense to have on the court in a series where points are tough to come by.

I know people are going to flame me, but I think Walker would have been agood addition to this team. It would be nice to pair KG with an above average passer and ball handler at the 4 when the C's go small. There's something to be said for having another skilled "big man" (and I use the term loosely with Walker) on the floor. Yes his shot selection is frustrating, and he's prone to missing layups, but I think the ball movement and spacing would have been something special with him on the court with the big three.

Again another weak game by Perkins. When he is on the court, it's like playing 4 on 5. He has almost zero offense out there and is hurting the team. He doesn't even look shoot the ball. 69 points for the entire game in not excusable.

What was also weird was Perkins got a dunk with a with about 1:30 left in the game and was excited. He was celebrating after that play and when were down by 7.

Again, Danny Ainge needs to address the center postion in the off season. Perkins needs to come of the bench in limites minutes(15-18 per game).

Perk has killed us on offense this series. I think Powe or Baby could have done a similar defensive job.

Perk is killing us in offense as is PP and Ray. They look like Finley and all those other old guys. Next season Ray should be our 6th man. Lots of teams won championships with centers that were crap in offense.

Weak link as far as a player is far and away the Bad Pierce, Empty Possession Paul. Hopefully the Good Pierce will show up Game 7. Weak link overall is Doc, he's never going to be a competent coach when the game is on the line and when coaching actually matters.

Pierce at least does a nice job on Lebron. Yes even tonight - Lebron DIDN'T play well. He went 9-23 which I guess my this series standard is a good game for him. <g>

Perkins and BBD are too vertically challenged. We need a few tall guys with some hops. Even KG isn't getting up like he used too.

I think Ilgauskus is a bad matchup for Perkins. He's too damn tall, and the paint is too clogged for him to get any open looks in the paint.
