The Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers have agreed to a deal:
Indiana Trades/ Bucks receive:
Jamal Magloire $4,000,000
Adrian Griffin $1,593,000
2008 2nd Round Draft Pick (Chicago)
2008 2nd Round Drat Pick (Golden State)
FOR
Milwaukee trades/ Indiana receives:
Charlie Bell $3,106,000
Charlie Villaneuva $2,715,000
The Bucks feel that this is a great trade for both parties involved. The Pacers recieve a young power forward to put next to Derrick Rose, or whoever else they draft, while the Bucks dump enough salary to retain their key players in this years free-agency class. The Bucks also free up space on their depth chart at shooting guard, as well as free up a position for the power forward they will draft in the off-season.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to do the math, but JB quoted this thing so you can see that I haven't changed anything other than adding the math
Milwuakee sends out 5.8 mill, and recieves 5.6 mill 5.6*1.25= 7 mill

Interesting you say that. I've been needing a more offensive minded center, which I get in Miller. I also have been looking to gain salary for next offseason. I shed a year off of Dalembert's contract for one that expires next year.
I'm baffled by why people would veto this deal, but I guess I have to move on.

Because Dalembert is clearly the better and more valuable player. I would have needed to give up the #5 to get him and you originally dealt Caron Butler to get him. I don't know anyone who would even consider offering those kind of deals for Miller and there is a very good reason.

First off, if you were about to give me the number 5 pick for Dalembert, I thought I was getting a much better deal then you were.
Secondly, he did not deal Caron Butler for Sammy. He dealt Caron Butler for Sammy, a mid first, and Rodney Carney. He also dumped the contract of Matt Harpring on me. I don't see how this is such a horrible deal, yes Dalembert is younger, but Miller has better stats and is better on the offensive end.. In the end, I think both of us thought we were getting the better deal, it's kind of shocking to see this deal vetoed.

Trade REJECTED due to Bell's BYC status:
MIL out:
Charlie Bell (1.503, halved due to BYC) + Charlie Villanueva (2.715) = 4.218
IND out:
Jamaal Magloire (4.0) + Adrian Griffin (1.593) = 5.593
MIL incoming: 5.593
IND incoming: 5.821
***MILWAUKEE's INCOMING is over 125% + 100k of its outgoing, as Bell's BYC status makes the outgoing 4.218 only, and is only 5.2725 + 100k after calculation (4.218 x 1.25 = 5.2725 + 100k = 5.3725), therefore, trade not accepted***
sorry guys, try again with another formula

The Knicks and Wizards would like to announce their second blockbuster deal.
The Knicks trade Eddy Curry, Andray Blanche and Quentin Richardson for Samuel Dalembert, Nick Collison and Rod Benson.
Curry+ Blatche+ Richardson
8.94 +2.47 + 8.105= 19.51
Dalembert+ Collison+ Benson
9.68+5.75+ 0.69= 16.12
16.12 x 1.25= 20.15 so therefore the salary figures work out.
This deal would hard because I liked Blanche alot and the idea was always to put Curry next to Dalembert but this deal was one I just had to make.
Edit: Added the salary figures to show the math works.

Wizards accept. One of the things my team has lacked recently is offensive minded players. I've been concentrating on defense, but this deal gives me offense I've been sorely needing.
We also shed some years, and right a wrong from earlier in the game by bringing back Blatche.
