That'd be fine with me, but some people have made trades based on the fact that they pick they'll get will be high. For instance, I traded MIA's 08 1st.DGrangeRx33 wrote:I think judges should decide what the draft order should be. I mean, I'm down for the other way too, but some teams have changed so drastically that the draft order would make no sense.

Exactly. That's the only way to do the draft at this point. I know teams have changed a lot but everyone made those changes knowing how the draft order was determined.

Nah man. I have waited long enough. I am getting tired of this game. The only reason I haven't quit out of boredom is that I worked too hard on this team for some other guy to come in and ruin it.

Last time, we didn't wait.

Plz, be my guest as per special invitation to leave. We really don't want people who don't enjoy the game.

I like the game but its just getting dragging on too freaking long. We've been doing this since Febuary for Pete's sake. I don't want to wait for some prospective prospect list to be created. We should just go with what we got and do what we have to do.

Hey guys,
I just wanted to post an apology for going AWOL over the last few weeks. I was bogged down with final exams and now with relocating after college from Chapel Hill to Philadelphia and eventually to Minneapolis. I truly enjoyed participating in this game and I wish all of the GMs success in the duration of the game. Again, sorry for not being able to be active the last couple weeks and good luck!

2008 second round draft pick to Detroit
Minnesota's own 2008 2nd round pick to Detroit, provided that Minnesota shall have the option to defer the conveyance by one year if it notifies Detroit and the League Office 30 days prior to the 2008 Draft. If Minnesota elects to defer, then it shall trade its own 2009 2nd round pick to Detroit [Detroit - Minnesota, 10/31/2005]
Minnesota is notifying the league office. I don't know when our draft will be but Minnesota would like to defer its 2008 2nd rounder and give Detroit their 2009 2nd rounder instead

That's pretty interesting, is that allowed by the current CBA? And was that trade (with that stipulation incl.) approved by the league office?

It's a real life trade... look under GM Resources in the future draft picks section. Then go down to Minnesota and check under the debits.

I can confirm the validity of the trade. It was the Ronald Dupree trade.

Alright guys, we need your full co-operation with this. Due to schedule restraints, from May 30 - June 10 I will be busier than usual and will have much less time for the game. After that period I will be able to dedicate at least 3-4 hours a day for the game. zong is also going to be absent for a little while after the 10th, so we need to have a vote. Who would like the draft to be before the 30th, or who would like to have it after the 10th?

I have to attend a wedding in another country, which means some time off for travelling is required, I will, however, bring along my laptop and pray that they have wi-fi around there
I would like to vote that the draft starts before may 30th, possibly around the 30th itself if possible since its a friday

I think we need to speed along a bit. I vote for before the 30th, even though its only a week away.
