Did Beasley and Rose attend the Draft camp?

Post#1 » by Riled Up » Wed May 28, 2008 9:55 pm

If so, did they weigh in and get measured? Michael Beasley's true height will be interesting to see........is he a legit 6'9" or is he 6'6" like Haslem.

He measured at 6-9 last summer. And Rose measured at 6-3 and 1/2, I believe.

They both attended the camp. Neither participated in either of drills or games. The top 15 players didn't participate and will just get measured, get physicals, and do agility workouts

Last year they also did it with shoes. For instance, lamarcus Aldridge who we all think has get size measured at 6"10 1/3 and Beasley measured in @ 6"9. So if he is only a inch shorter then lamarcus Aldridge then we will be alright.

Air Lane's are pretty sweet, I prefer the away models to the home models... little more ankle support

At least Beasley wouldd be a legit 7-footer with those on. We'd finally have our big post guy.

7-foot wingspan, although his arms look pretty short to me in that pic.

yea his standing reach is actually pretty good for 6'9". The thing that makes his arms look short is that he has enormous hands... 11 inch hands are more like seven footer plus.

Pre-Draft Camp Interviews Beasley/Rose

Post#17 » by Hangtime84 » Fri May 30, 2008 5:32 am

Rose:

Beasley:

When both asked about Heat...Both players eyes light up. I guess I would be happy playing with a superstar as Wade.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

thanks for the links..

i gotta say the overreaction at the Bulls board over everything is hilarious..now Rose is getting criticized for saying Beasley is way better, the guy is just trying to be politically correct.

We overreact a lot, but part if is that we haven't been able to achieve our teams expectations. Another reason is because we were spolied by the dynasty years

Over this whole Beasley vs Rose thing from the bulls it's about 70 rose 30 Beasley with about 30% of the Rose side saying they wouldn't mind either one, but if they chose they'd go with Rose (I'm in that camp).

But it's funny reading the sides of the Super-Beaslists vs Super-Rosilsts

Wow Did you see Beasley face when they asked about miami? The guy is going to be a Stud. He has that cockiness about him. He said that he would like to play the 4 and some 3, thats kinda interesting since he only played the 4 in college.

Return to Miami Heat
