TRADE REJECTED

Kendrick Perkins has a BYC clause in his contract after getting extended last summer, so his outgoing value is actually $2,240,456

2009 2nd Round Pick via Denver

Total: 10.98

Toronto Receives:

James Jones 2.9
Keyon Dooling 3.6
Lindsey Hunter 2.4

Incoming Total: 8.9 (works because outgoing is bigger than incoming)

Portland Sends:

Bobby Jackson 5.67
Lindsey Hunter 2.4
James Jones 2.9
Daniel Gibson (min)
Dominic McGuire (min)
2009 2nd Round Pick via Philadelphia

Total: 10.97

Portland Receives:

Jason Kapono 5.35
Eduardo Najera 4.95
2009 1st Round Pick via Toronto
2009 2nd Round Pick via Denver

Total: 10.3 (works because outgoing is bigger than incoming)

Washington Sends:

Keyon Dooling 3.6
Eduardo Najera 4.95
David Lee 0.99

Total: 9.54

Washington Receives:

Tim Thomas 5.63
Bobby Jackson 5.67
Dominic McGuire (min)
Daniel Gibson (min)
2009 2nd Round Pick via Philadelphia

Incoming Total: 11.3 (9.54 x 1.25 = 11.925 )

2nd Trade:

Washington Sends:
Daniel Gibson (0.68)
Dominic McGuire (0.42) = total 1.1

Washington Receives:
David Lee (0.99) total = 0.99 (works because outgoing is greater)

Portland Sends:
David Lee 0.99

Portland Receives:

^Raptors accept. Hard to part with a 1st, but this clears $12M in salary and keeps me outta the luxury tax for next season.

Washington accepts. I lose my main expirings for this offseason, but I'm aiming for the 09 free agent class anyways.

Interesting math there. 5.63 + 5.67 = 8.5?

you're not on AIM ever so i cant talk to you about it, basically you get david lee back in order to make that deal work because he was your smallest contract on the team that I could think of a scenario of, but no harm has been done lol

Can we get that trade approved by clyde since the other two higherups are in the trade?

ANOTHER TRADE TO ANNOUNCE

New York trades Marko Jaric (6,050,000), Rod Benson, and 08 2nd rounder (39) to Washington for Stromile Swift (5,800,000) and Chucky Atkins (3,000,000).

I wasn't sure you had accepted the trade with your questioning of David Lee in it.
But the three way trade is approved.

The New York - Washington trade needs salary info for Rod Benson

I think Benson's salary was like 687k.

Correct, which means salaries don't match. Get on AIM or email to continue negotiations.

DEAL REVISED DUE TO SALARY PROBLEMS:

New York trades Marko Jaric (6,050,000), Rod Benson (687,456), and 08 2nd rounder (#39) to Washington for Stromile Swift (5,800,000) and Gerald Green (1,440,960).

6,050,000 + 687,456 = 6,737,456
5,800,000 + 1,440,960 = 7,240,960

6,737,456 * 1.25 = 8,421,820

Washington Accepts.
