Quick Explanation We already have our rotation of guards, our rotation of swingman, and our rotation of bigs mapped out. This deal allows us to cut some more cap room and make sure we end up below the roster limit.

Wizards accept. This adds much needed depth to my bench.

Minnesota and Memphis have a trade to announce

Minnesota out Gordon Giricek 4,000,000; kareem rush 770,610; juan dixon 2,550,000; monta ellis 770,610; rights to joel freeland = 8,091,220 x 1.25 = 10,114,025

Memphis out #28, #27, brian cardinal 5,850,000; mike conley 3,377,160 = 9,227,160

--10,114,025>9,227,160 so trade works

Minnesota accepts and is sad to trade monta ellis, but he thought foye and ellis wouldn't be a good backcourt duo, and minnesota is happy to bring in a couple of 1st rounders to help round out our roster and very happy to bring in mike conley

Grizzlies Accept

We warmly welcome Monta Ellis, Giricek, Rush, Freeland and Dixon into Memphis. Conley and Cardinal will surely be missed.
