I thought he played decent tonight and hit some important shots.

It just seemed, for every good thing he did, he does 2 bad things. He just holds the ball too long and takes too many bad shots. When he launched that shot and missed almost everything, I wanted to reach through my TV screen and kill him. Then, he missed a box out assigment on the weak side after a solid defensive stop and they get an offensive rebound for a putback. But, whatever, they won. I still want to see Eddie over him.

I hope Pierce is OK and he can play.

It is all about the defense! If we play our defense for the whole game not just one half we are in great position! We have to win game 2!

L.A. has to figure out a way to get rebounds, or they're done. They are not going to beat us 4 times by shooting 55% from the field. They might be able to do that once or twice, but not 4 times.

I was very encouraged by last night. With the exception of Gasol breaking free to the hoop in the first half too many times, which we fixed, we controlled the paint.

And isn't it interesting that all of the L.A. fans still want to talk smack about winning the series in 5, etc., and they haven't managed to beat us a single time this year. Please, can all of you just go hide under a rock and refrain from talking about winning series, until you manage to win at least one game against the Celtics this year? Thank you.

AGRESSION.

We're not the pretty team. We're not the offensive juggernaut.

We need to be AGRESSIVE and **** Lost Angels up.

EVEN though Ray Allen dribbled the ball off his foot into LA's hands, even though he made a behind his back pass to the opposing team on a break away. He played well because he was as agressive as he can be offensively without being able to dribble.

More driving, more fouls, more rebounds, more wins!

Do you expect Boston to miss 5 wide open 3-pointers and a missed dunk by Garnett again? Anyways, does anyone know if Pruitt gets a Championship ring if Boston wins this series?

Yes. My man celticfan42487 has spoken.

I mean, it makes sense: it's not like Scal and Pruitt never played, or never practice, or aren't a part of the team, even though they don't play now. And Pollard got some burn before he went down. I have no problem with those three getting a ring if the Cs win the series.

That's how Darko was able to beat Carmelo, DWade, and LeBron to get a ring.

Hey guys great game one - now lets make it two row. I was impressed with the way PP came back, and I have always been a KG fan. I can't believe I have to wait three days for game two. I'll be wearing green on sunday...........

Mike Wilks got a ring on one of those Spurs teams that won it all (2005 I think) and he didn't play much. Pruitt definitely gets one, and I think the whole coaching staff.

i have a feeling their gonna go at the ring thing like the Sox in 04. theyll be "liberal" to put it nicely. probably the 16 players and everyone on the staff for sure. and id imagine a good chunk of random front office types will get em too. and to beat the lakers trolls to it(where did they go???) Mchale too
