I had this dream last night that this guy came into the ER with a nasty infected abscess on his leg that needed an incision and drainage. He had a fever and was looking sick, but he was wearing a Beat LA shirt... so I refused to treat him.

Yeah, I know, sounds **** up... but that more or less sums up my state of mind right now.

I hear you man. Couldn't sleep at all last night. Feel like total crap. I'm trying not to read the articles and posts online, but I can't help it.

Marc Stein and Bill Simmons are douche bags, that's all I can say. Rivalry or not, I've developed an intense dislike for certain people. Low class, cheap shots, whatever, it's really gotten under my skin.

Anyways, since there was little chance I was going to sleep tonight, in the wee hours of the morning I tried to distract myself by watching this newly released DVD called "Control," about the lead singer of the band Joy Division, which I never heard of.

The guy hangs himself at the end.

This was probably not the best movie to watch after Game 4.

Not all was lost, though. The love interest in the movie is the actress Alexandra Maria Lara, whom I mentioned before in Der Undergang, Der Tunnel, and just recently, Youth without Youth. So hot. Gots to get me one of those!

Aright, time to go out and get silly.

So I just finished the set of movies I got from Blockbuster the yesterday. Two new releases two not so new, but not old. Consider the fact that I don't get out to the theaters much, I try my best to stay away from spoilers, I don't read much, epecially movies based off of books or books based off of movies (yes call me uncultured or close minded or whatever  ), and I'll watch almost anything even if it's poorly reviewed. I love comedy, drama, horror, sci-fi, action, western, thriller and I'll watch a decent documentary or any combination of the mentioned... I stay away from musicals though, I tried to like them but in the end I always turn them off before it ends (good example would be the recent Chicago)

Here's the lineup in order of when it was viewed:
1. There Will Be Blood: Great overall, odd ending --all of a sudden jumping the timeline near the end of the movie, great in developing character but not the story--, great character development from the main characters perspective, but what really bugged me out was the soundtrack --loud unattrative music that you would here in a thriller or horror film during the building process of the film.--
2. Semi-Pro: Great overall, and I generally don't like Will's movies --overhyped as "hilarious" IMHO--, but he was funny in this one and the trailers didn't spoil the movie which generally happens with modern comedies of this nature... story was pretty good and all the actors fit their rolls really well.
3. The Bourne Supremacy: Yes, I'm behind, shoot me  ... I came into this as if this was a continuation of the first and I'm glad I did otherwise I wouldn't have liked it as much as I did, more action less story than the first, but still revealing and set itself up for another movie, which I'm going to rent soon.
4. Red Eye: This was the one I didn't want to see in theaters but still wanted to watch... wasn't great, wasn't horrible either. It was a simple thriller with a simple plot with simple character development a good movie to watch if there's a baseball or soccer game on

I was surprisingly happy with this latest selection.

I hope to get The Fountain, Jumper, The Bourne Ultimatum and a few others next time around.

first day at work was fairly uneventful, the manager was showing how to change out the containers where the fountain pop is, took the hose of the end and a piece was broke so pop poured out everywhere onto the floor, now even though i had been working there for 3 some hours, she cleaned it up :D

and i find it amazing at how many people throw there money away for lottery scratch tickets

If people have money they'll spend it... hell, America spends it even if we don't have money. So unfortunate.

Finally after getting my feelings out in that game thread and listening to Tupac all day long, I'm feeling better and looking forward to the next game. Thank God for Tupac Amaru Shakur.

Guys, this is just the first part of the upgrade. There will be many things that will be worked out in the near future, all for the better. Trust me. When this is updated and polished to its finest, it will be a LOT better than it was before.

But like every upgrade, it will take some time to get used to it. Remember when RealGM decided to align everything to the left side of the page after being centered for so long? People complained for the first 2 weeks, but ever since, its been the norm and its been a part of the RealGM we all know and love now.

Just be patient. It'll provide us all with the best message board experience in no time.

I'm going to be honest. I LOVE change. When something stays the same for awhile, I get bored of it. Well, with these recent UPGRADES, I renewed my RealGM passion.

These forums are badass. People don't like it really and complaining ALOT, but Jesus, give them a few days and they'll have the quick reply, quoting system fixed, PM's back, etc.

What people don't mention is how many tricks we can do in our profile now. That is sweet!
The slideshow, NICE!
People don't look at the search button for each forum. Sweet!
RealGM is looking way more professional now than it did before.

It's a really nice upgrade and I'm still trying to find all of the ins and outs. But let me tell you, there are alot of POSITIVES about this upgrade. You will find out soon.
