I wouldn't be mad at all if we picked Randolph... but if it's over Arthur, Bayless if he somehow would be there, Westbrook if he falls, Alexander (to a lesser extent) - then I'd be surprised and disappointed. But ultimately, still intrigued, because Randolph is who we got, and would get over the disappointment.

Randolph is a PF...I was saying anyone who wasn't a PF/PG (or wasn't rumored to be picked, like Hibbert/Alexander)

I agree the Nets could definitely take Alexander... I think they'll take one of the big fowards without a defined position... Alexander, Gallinari (to a lesser extent), Randolph

Re: Players worked out by Kings...Official 2008 Draft Thread
No big surprise, but Rose is going to the Bulls per ESPN
1. Rose
2. Beasley
3. Mayo
4. Lopez
5. Love
6. Gallinari
7. Gordon
8. Alexander
9. Westbrook
10. Bayless
11. Randolph
12. Augustin
13. Rush
14. Koufos
EDIT: I think the Nets could go with Arthur instead because they don't really need Bayless. But if they moved Carter, would Harris/Bayless back court work?

I disagree... I don't think Randolph is defined to what foward spot he'll be or sway to more... only time will tell.
Randolph has to turn out like Odom/Blatche mass-wise to be a PF, starting or not.

Re: Players worked out by Kings...Official 2008 Draft Thread
IF NY takes Bayless instead of Gallinari, then I could see NJ taking Gallinari at 10, but I still see the Kings ending up with either Augustin or Randolph, IMO. Will hope and pray that Bayless could drop to us. Interesting enough, some people have Augustin rated over Bayless now on their draft boards.

I'd love that because I'd get to see Arthur as much as I want to...

The point was, asking if we would be mad if we picked someone that wasn't a need, rumored, or worked out by the Kings (such as Brandon Rush).

Draft night has now started, so this thread has now changed to the draft night discussion thread. Time to build the future...
BTW, how the hell does Chad Ford think Bayless drops to 12?

If Bayless drops past the Knicks at 6, I think he could get to 12.
6. Westbrook
7. Gordon
8. Alexander
9. Randolph
10. Gallinari
11. Arthur
12. Bayless?
It could happen.

Derrick Rose talks like Tiger Woods, or sounds like Tiger when he talks.

What a surprise, Rose goes to the Bulls...
I won't complain if Bayless drops and I can see how it could happen. But the fact that Chad Ford has brought it up as a possibility tells me that it won't happen.

Well, I hope that happens. Would much rather have Bayless than Augustine. Hell, I'd rather have Gordon!!!

I came in on it at the end but it sounded like Franschilla was saying that the Knicks may go after Gallinari?
